Is Andersen ok? After Mookie landed on him, his wrist might have a big problem it appeared. Any word on how he is doing?

Really sucks to hear. Had a decent 5th I believe in moto one. Was running good enough to back that up as well.

This is such a bummer. Not even sure why Mookie was sending that double in that situation.

Yeah and he took himself and another rider out of it by making a risky move.

I'm not hating on Mookie. It's just a bummer move that really didn't matter on lap 2 or whatever of the race. He could've hurt himself too. It's the worst time of the year for that shit.

It's also a good example of why riders don't want to ride MXoN yearly too. You never know what happens and now the entire offseason is fucked.

So you want professional riders who are paid to get results which requires taking risks not ride to their potential?

You're right, Stewart shouldn't have been launching a blind jump like that when the guys in front of him are rolling. It's just a common sense thing when its muddy and other riders are unpredictable because of track conditions.

Why blame Mookie when it was Jason's fault for not jumping?  Sucks but a double is supposed to be doubled.

I'm not blaming Mookie. But let's not act like Jason was the only rider not doubling there. This isn't a normal double situation.

Watching the clip, it's clear Mookie tried to Double to pass which is fine, he was just off timing a bit and Jason drifted slightly in his path, it could've been way worse.

mookie and ando and barcia all taking turns taking each other out is something to be missed when they're all gone.

Same thing happened to Mookie at A1 when he rolled a jump and Barcia didn’t. No need to point fingers these things happen.

Bro, I'm not pointing fingers. I just said I wished Mookie would have checked up. Nothing good came of it and it cost both of them money.

Jason probably is out of WSX now, AMA prep will get hindered.  I referenced Nations and said basically this is why you have to pay big dollars for off season races. To offset the risk downstream for people's career.

Again, I don't blame Mookie for jumping, I just don't think it's an automatic decision that every other rider would do the same right there in this specific mud race right at the end of the season.

Oh and Ando could've hugged the inside line better.

Why wouldn’t he be jumping it, if he could? It was obviously much faster.

After getting landed on in MXdN years ago I would think Jason would send everything even when sketchy. Racing incident but gives me deja vu.

snarky answer, but because landing on people makes you fall over and lose time.

This is so cliché...but I have too.. Smile

Bro, have you EVER raced ANYTHING in your life?

We would take the jump/chance every Sunday in club racing for a $2 plastic trophy, let alone for hundreds of thousands of dollars!!!!

yeah, i have. i love racing man. i live for it pretty much. some people don't really think that far ahead. i think they call it racecraft, sometimes.

i do alot of sim racing now and its really funny when you come up on someone 8 tenths slower and they race you for all their worth, only for you to get by them and then the cars behind US are now close enough to challenge them for a pass. so, what did they accomplish? put their car at risk for damage, and put themselves in a position to lose more time in more battles, simply because they don't know how to choose the right ones.

i love sending it on people in cyclocross tho. that never gets old, because you're going like 15mph.

Mookie showed what a great rider and human being he is. Helping Andersen to get up and assist him during the race was true sportsmanship.

Btw, as you can tell from the video…

This was just a racing thing and Malcolm was as good as a dude could be about it.

Shit happens.
