I'm partial to this one 😇 2004, Stew on the 125
When I was a kid there was a photo of Billy Payne Sr. on a Maico floating off a downhill jump with hair floating out of the back of his helmet. It summed up everything I wanted to be and do! It was in a magazine in the 70s and I wish I had that photo. I talked to him at Loretta Lynn's when his son was there racing and he remembered the photo.
Reminds me of this poster I have since I was a kid in the mid 70's.
Dogger!
Little bigger
This may be my favorite capture, RV just hammering on the 250 at Southwick
Is it just me or does it seem like RV had some of the best "on the ground pics"?
Leaned over, power sliding, hunch forward like an animal building speed to overtake its prey.
I’m assuming Hot Sauce rode out of this insane bar drag, but can anyone confirm?
Pit Row
Hell yeah, man! I had that as my desktop pic for so long. I can feel the speed through the picture.
What's going on this picture? I've never seen a berm that looks like that.
👍👍👍👍👍
Here's a poster I had when I was a kid in the 80's. It's funny, I recently saw it in the background on a kids room wall on an old TV show.
Pretty sure that’s 2009 St. Louis SX. If memory serves correctly, they let a few former racers design tracks that season. St. Louis was Travis Pastrana’s (wild) layout, and I think one of his last racing attempts too…
