Best??
Hunta? Came damn close in sx, then beats the unbeatable in the nationals.
Kenny? Man that sx title had to feel soooo sweet!
Davies? Wins 250 sx title and proved he was the man of the class at the last shootout. Then goes out and wins the nats as one of they youngest ever to win both titles in the same year.
A bunch of other guys also had stellar years, but who had the best???
------------
Worst??
Sexton? Got a couple sx wins, but missed a bunch of races, and to this day, nobody seems to know what he's riding next year.
Et3? Had another sx title in the bag, crushed the daytona record, then got hurt by a trophy and is now going to retire.
Jett? Suffers life changing injury, misses all of sx, then loses a national title he should have had.
Plenty of others had a bad year, but who had the worst 2026???
Best - Roczen
Worst - Sexton
Best? Hunta. Rode his ass off.
Worst? Deegs. Got his ass rode......shamelessly.
Bonus? Watching loudmouth shit the bed each time he earned a great start. Karma is an absolute motherfucker......
Here we go 🙄
Best : Hunter - won 1 title and runner up in SX , Davies 2 titles.
Worst - Sexton - WTF ?, Shimoda - promising season began with and turned into nothing but injuries, Honorable mention to Deegs for being too cocky and not being able to back up his shit talk although he actually did pretty well.

Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
Best - Roczen,Hunta, Davies. Worst - Sexton, Shimota, Plessinger.
Dude won a 250 SX title, signed a massive deal with fox and rounded out the podium in his rookie season on a 450. I’d take that bad year every day of the week.
Worst? Jett. Can he fully recover from his injury? Are we going to be robbed of seeing a peak Jett the next decade?
Right, cmon. The blinders some people have when it comes to Deegz. And I criticize him all the time. But he had an amazing season. What are we doing here?
Had he come into the season as in underdog instead of painting himself to be the villain and all the trash talk etc, we would be blown away by his season. Went from being a bad starter to getting holeshots, ran up near the best guys in the world and could match pace for a couple laps here and there..
But the Tshirt, the insta posts and the insufferable smack talk just cancels out any of the positives
Best: roczen
Worst: deegan haters on vital that can’t get over a t shirt
I guess some of us don’t take “insta posts” and “smack talk” from 20 year olds so literally. It’s not all that serious. Anyway I’d say Cole Davies had the best year becoming the champ champ all the way from little old waitoki.
Jett has to be in the running for the worst year - by his own high standards. I hope he can get that ankle sorted out and we get to see him at his best again.
We are ignoring all the factual evidence we have and pretending he’s the worst rider ever, because we don’t like his personality. And we are fully grown ass men who are meant to be tough nut moto riders? You wouldn’t read about it.
Look you can check my post history, I put the wood to Deegz a lot. I'm no bedbug blindly drinking the Deegz coolant. I dont care what kinda trash he talked. 250 sx title and 3rd as a rookie on a 450 outdoors? Killer season.
Here the kicker, when is he going to improve on this season? Lawrence Bros are going to tax that ass for years to come. Sorry Deegz
I gotta tell you, I'm not a fan of the podium trash talk. He comes off so unnatural and forced. But the behind the scenes clips of him trash talking Jett, like at Budds, are hilarious! I love it. "What happened? I told you not to pick that gate." That's not a charector. That the real Deegz chipping at a competitor. So funny
Kenny had the best 2026 for sure
Worst... hmmm.. maybe Kitchen after fumbling it, again
based on the doctors tht matthes talked too & the doctor tht dazzy & Jett deals with , they both saying the same thing , it’s goona take a full yr to get full strength back but long term wise Jett will not be effected by it , Jett will be fine
Yup
Co sharing the best.
Kenny and Hunter.
Worst
Seth Hammaker.
Pit Row
Best hunter and Cole
Kenny’s story is awesome but I think hunter edges him out with the 2nd in SX and 1st in MX. Cole is a beast and proved it in both series but especially outdoors
Worst sexton and kitchen
Sexton didn’t have a good look this year despite his two SX wins, might as well lump Kawasaki in with him. Kitchen completely fell apart the last part of the outdoor season. Slipping from the points lead to 3rd overall. These are two of my favorite riders but it’s what happened.
Honorable mention for best, Jorge since KdM made the changes he wanted and getting an overall. Worst honorable mention, might be Eli with his neck injury that ultimately put him into retirement without us getting a full year to celebrate him at every race on his way out. Or possibly hamaker and Shimota just due to injuries. Just my opinion, of course.
Best: Roczen’s sx title..
Worst: Jett throwing moto one at Ironman to let Hunter win…
Marchbanks had a pretty dang good 2026.
Best: Kenny. I have no doubts that he still feels better about earning that sx title than Hunter does about the mx title.
Worst: Lucas Coenen
Roczen’s SX season is one for the books. Nothing else comes close.
Can it get worse than Sexton’s? In terms of potential to reality, this was a rough one.
Deegan had a great year. Won a SX reg titile...basically going undefeated. Entered as a rookie in 450 MX and knows where he has to improve...finishing 3rd in the chmpshp against probably the most gifted rider, and his brother, the sport has ever seen. I'd say that is pretty darn good as well. There were zero veteran 450 riders that were even in the same zip code aginst the top 3 in MX...except Prado at the end. Yup...I'd say Deegs had a GREAT year.
Best :
Eli first half of sx
Kenny winning the dang thing
Prado showing what he can do with a good team
Worst : Eli second half of the season. He got tangled up with other riders every single round it felt like. Highest of highs to the lowest of lows and he’s leaving certainly not how he wanted to go.
how anybody wouldn't say sexton for worst is criminal. the dude should be living in a psychiatry clinic.
Best - Cole Davies
Worst - Christian Craig
The only reason I didn't pick Sexton is because he won 2 SXs. Otherwise, he would have been my pick.
Ryder D worth a shout.
Pre 2026 average SX finish: 11.58
2026 average SX finish: 5.68
Pre 2026 average MX finish: 11.71
2026 average MX finish: 7.27
5.68 positions better in SX (2nd biggest jump this year) and 4.44 in MX (6th biggest jump this year). No career podiums in SX or MX prior to 2026 and got three in each. He also earned a career number.
Best: Kenny winning SX championship and now Eli getting to retire and do whatever he wants.
Worst: None getting paid to race a dirt bike is a win in itself.
