I've seen drunks fall down that hill also from Unadilla in years past.

Hunter did that on purpose to give Jett the points lead so he would have more negotiating power with Honda for his next contract to make the family the most amount of money possible. Or whatever the fuck else people think

Shit that was a hell of a tumble, no wonder he was a bit out of whack when he got back on the bike and dropped it again.

Then he got up and RAN UPHILL back to his bike. Do not question this man’s fitness.

He didn’t finish.  Better off crashing & rolling a few times down a hill vs crash hit once into a whoop & blow your body up.   I,ve crashed like that & I,m sure others hv down a hill .  Even skiing big roll crashes , great practice for riding a dirtbike .  Arms out then go into rolls , usually you don’t get hurt because not 1 part is taking all the impact.

I know they say repeatedly how steep the hill us but until this video, and his endless tumble down, it didn't really click for me.

One great thing you get from going to these races and actually riding the tracks is realizing how freaking steep some of this stuff is. This part of Dilla is a legit hard to walk on and Budd's Creek is wicked steep pretty much everywhere. It's difficult to put into words how much TV flattens out these sections.

it’s steep hills everywhere in the northeast the tracks match the region. Just like all the tracks .

Hunter said when he got back on the bike the steering stuck at full lock and that's why he went  down again. Turns out the steering stop broke in the crash.

I wonder if the steering stop may have caused the wheel to bury into the ground, because with the way Hunter rolled, I'd have figured the bike would have been close behind him on a hill that steep.

Possibly. Certainly a good thing it didn't follow him!

Too bad we can’t get some track level cameras like we’ve been asking for for years to show the speed, elevation, jump steepness, etc
