I'm not surprised since most Deegan haters have a hard time reading.  And they certainly don't care about facts.

Awesome!!! They(Lawrences) are talented/skilled but happy to see any riders step up and change the headlines enough each week to where they don't include the word Lawrence in them. Kind of a yawn year in MX.

This is great news. Now, does there really need to be a MXON?? Like I said...we have it every race here in the US.

Supercross is the goal for everyone. That’s where the money is. MX, unfortunately, is second fiddle

I think it a bad idea. Beginning of the season you hear how stacked the 450 class is. Last few races it’s only 2 left  that didn’t get injured & miss races. Do the mxgp,,s then you hv an advantage when the nationals start.

That is NOT a comparison I would want to make about my favourite rider…

Not exactly surprising that Metal Mulisha’s logo is like a knockoff Totenkopf, the aesthetic they were going for was defnitely the Schutzstaffel Panzerdivisio, pretty hard to ignore.

Lucas jumping into SX is a tall order. just hope both survive long enough to make it to mx

Lucas going into the full length season of the 450 class seems to be a bit of a mistake.

He won't have the MXGP title - unless something truly bizarre happens next GP to Herlings, and, well, others - so he isn't prohibited from doing the short season of 250s. I don't think competing in 450 MXGP stops you from 250SX.

Sacha still has a good chance of getting the MX2 title, before he goes to the USA.

Basically, I hope both survive SX. Doing 250s for Lucas could increase his chances of getting through to the 450 Outdoors healthy. Sacha - I worry about that young man in SX.

Whos knows? - they both may well have stellar transitions to SX .

He can absolutely ride 250sx and it would be a huge mistake if he didn't.  Yeah, he wants to race the big dogs in the AMA like he was in MXGP, I get it. Going down to the 250 would feel like a demotion. You dont want none of the Lawrence's,  Roczen, Tomac,  Webb, JCoop, Deegan, Ando, I could keep going. Shoot, Jorge will eat his lunch. Do at least one season on a 250 and go 450 mx

I might be wrong but I heard somewhere tht Lucas has no interest dropping back to a 250 , prefers the 450 & he already put the work in on his body to maintain the 450

Oh I fully believe that. Hes been battling and straight whipping the best 450 MXGP riders on the planet. He handled the AMA guys pretty good too. We all know soupey is a different animal though. I'd at least like to see him do an abbreviated sx schedule.  Maybe not even race A1 and keep putting in work at the practice track

yeaaa a jcoop type deal with select sx rds & then go balls to the wall outdoors would be best for em at this moment , in the back of my mind I got this thought if Eli does decide to hang it up this yr tht they might have Lucas do the whole smx schedule, matthes & like 1 other outlet alluded to there’s just small a rumor close to Eli tht Eli actually might call it a career after smx & with tht in mind , I don’t see ktm just rolling out there with Jorge as the only 450 guy all sx long

These boys know how to ride dirt bikes. They’ll figure out SX just fine as long as they have a full off season.

It would be nice if at least Sascha came over for SMX, try to qualify and get a little SXish experience.

Might be a little less pressure than A1.

You are correct, every race in the US is a team race where riders represent their country 🙄.

Hopefully someone talks some sense into him and he swallows his pride and rides the 250 indoors. No one is going to look down on him for that and is the best option for him to make it through indoors healthy

I’d like to see some young up and coming USA riders head to MXGP. With the lack of full gate races and all the “superstars” racing AMA I think younger riders in the 10-20 place positions could gain a lot of experience and speed by spending a couple years in MXGP. I’m not sure if that’s a disaster for a career, or a leap forward. Options?

You're so right!

The basic Human Tribalism on this board is unbearable at times. For fucks sake, just meet under the flag pole at Red Bud in July and swing your fanny packs at each other.
