I saw he posted that on his instagram. Probably wouldn’t have the best result but he would give 100% effort.

That would be a fun team. Wouldn’t win but would be exciting

I swear I listened to a podcast where RJ said no a month ago. He said racing the des Nations last season destroyed his off season and he has to test a new bike this off season as well.

To be honest, I’m not a huge Webb fan but his willingness to drop everything and race the team USA makes me respect him a lot more.

He’s not going this year though.

His comment on Webb's post was, 'if you're willing to go on a new bike then so am I'

We'll send a team, but Webb isn't going to be on it. Well, unless Star offers him a bike and he finds someone to pay for the bike and the support. He's not going to France on a Tedder, uh . . . Husky?

Don’t always care for his attitude but can respect he’s always up to represent USA. Remember not too far back Star was even on board to give him a bike he didn’t race all season to represent the US, my how the tables have turned!

Webb, Plessinger and Kitchen wouldn't hurt my feelings at all.  If we aren't looking to win it at least we can make a good show.

I've been following the MXoN since the first one I attended in 2006 at Matterly Basin when I was 14 years old. In those years, it was USA vs the world. When America finally got beat at Lommel in 2012, it was an incredible experience, the atmosphere was wild. The USA had FINALLY been beaten.
Now I feel the Euro/World attitude has shifted. Too many years of not seeing the USA's best attending the event. It's been a real shame for fans world wide, we want to see your best there to put up a fair fight against our best.

Now I actively root for the USA team regardless of who goes, the guys that do go are genuine patriotic Americans. They may not be the best on paper, but at least they are willing to lay it all on the line for the pride of their country and fans.
I don't expect this years USA team to be its potential best, but I will be routing for whoever goes non the less.

Also worth noting I'm a Brit, and we haven't had a decent showing since Assen in 2019. Our last years result was horrendous. Our team for this year is pretty weak, so expectations are low. But as usual I will still make the trip for what I consider to be the best and most important race of the year for our sport.

I was not a Cooper Webb fan at all, but when all the other riders were making excuses to not go, Webb stepped up to 450 and raced anyway , made them all look stupid, he got the memo about why you never say no.

Then again he steps up to ride the 250 at Matterley Basin, having not ridden one for 6(?) years.

You dont forget stuff like that.

Factory supported Team Tedder Husky? Yes! He'll have very little time on it, but hell yeah! Send someone who actually wants to go. Probably will be Webb's last ever MX race too. Go out with a bang!

The fact that he is switching to Husky means there is a chance. He already has setups from KTM that would probably get him in the ballpark.

I like Webb RJ Barcia etc….I think they all would go. However it’s easy to publicly say yes to something knowing good and well you aren’t going to be asked to do it. Good on them for taking the opportunity to make themselves look good though. Looks better than Deegans response

Webb may not have results here in the states, but he has pulled it together when it comes to MXDN. He was faster and better than AP on a 250 last year, his first year on a 450 he almost won us the whole thing, coincidentally cost us the win if I’m remembering correctly.

Send him, he’s proven he can stay upright and get inside the top 10 here consistently.

Webb has stood up to represent USA, over and over. Many times in less than ideal conditions, too. He doesn't cherry pick when it's convenient or beneficial. So he deserves a ton of respect. He's real, it's not just for show. I understand there is a financial side to it, a risk/reward also. But through Webb's whole career, he makes it known that he wants to go and he will do whatever the team needs. He deserves a lot of credit for that.

Well Webb was 2nd American at Budds Creek and 1st American don’t want none, so there’s that.😎

Huge respect for whoever rides for team USA. Fans would rather see riders with heart than see the "star" run and hide every year. Because as others have said; he absolutely won't be at Assen next year, and he probably won't ever do it wherever it is.

I care less about being competitive and more about being represented by proud patriots.

Per Matthes it sounds like Marchbanks is out. Not sure if that's a Kawi issue and means that Kitchen is out too? Hopefully not.

That 2015 USA team of Barcia (MXGP), JMart (MX2), and Webb (Open) was a great team...
...lost to France in the final moto by 2 points...
...France and the USA were tied going into the third moto at 8 points each...
...the Swiss were in third place at 29 points going into the third moto...
...a young Webb tried in that third moto, but the USA fell short...
...France finished at 14 points, the USA finished with 16 points...
...Belgium finished in third with 56 points...
...one of the best MXdNs in recent years in my opinion.

Yep! If Kawi isn’t going (no surprise)…

Webb - Barcia - Hymas

Webb - RJ - Hymas

Make it so.  These guys all love to represent the Stars and Stripes and I’m here for it.

What do you mean hope? We will send a team, we do every year with few exceptions. We don't have a problem sending a team we have a problem sending our best team, or second best team, or . . .
