He was asking for goggles but it seems like his mechanic/team did not oblige.

They should have gone back to the old one right after that 2007 MXdN. The FIM made Beasley put it there for the race. 

Way before that, the start was short and straight uphill on the other side of the track, into a tight, tight 180. That one would never work. Hell, it didn't work back then. 

So Levi didn't pull in for goggles.  I hope that was "his" choice and not the teams.  Like they knew there was a stiff penalty incoming and he couldn't afford the time to come in for freshies.

Beginning to think that Levi doesn't have the mental toughness needed to be a champion in this sport....

Looks like it was a team call.  Levi was gesturing for goggles when going by the mechanics area for a few laps after he went down.

Ofc it’s his choice. If you want a new pair you go in to the pits, and he just kept on going. 

Jeez...Levi's eyes are toast.  He pretty much said that the start was him saying, "fuck it".🙃

That Levi interview was a tough one to watch.

It’s just pure stupidity to watch that team and him handle this day.

When you are in a championship fight with 1 point lead you line up with roll off’s, hand guards and a ribbed seat with a step on it to.

You take every safety precaution you can regarding yourself and the bike.

He would have lost maybe 10 to 15 seconds to change googles mid moto (since he was stupid enough to use tear offs) and did not do it. If he can save 2 seconds a map by seeing and being able do ride behind another rider it’s worth it.

You guys ever seen Travis Enchanted a crowd?  It's something to see.

Maybe I´m too old or I don´t know but daaaaamn so hard to watch levi so down, like depressed and saying like "yeah I don´t know ill do my best" I think it´s ok to be pissed off, admit like yeah I messed I´ve got nothing more to say. Also Mitch should be furious and that would be ok. I think nowadays everyone is afraid to show "bad" emotions. 

Weedge should have mentioned Didi Burns when Stew mentioned the loretta couch video with Him, RC and TP
