Duffe has stated that he is intrigued with NASCAR, so a move to a NC-based team operating near JGR NASCAR shops makes sense. Ease in and make some connections….

Prol should get Haydens bike figured out before he ventures to 4 wheels.
And Nascar? I thought that sport is all but dead.
I will stick to grass roots short track everyday and any day. No time for Nascar.

Well that isn’t his job. His job is to put the pieces of the bike together, not tune suspension.

Any truths to several staff leaving Star?

Anstie mechanic. Webb’s mechanic. Duffe. Could there be more to leave?

Biggest issue with barcia is his age, turns 35 during 27 SX season. I don't see how you can give him a multi year deal.

True, but he can still run a 5-10 sx as well as mx.

6th place is the new podium now days it seems.

The Kawi chassis is supposedly new. Is there any possibility Sexton could ride it before needing to make a decision? No idea when the bike could be available or when he will be back to riding. I say that while wondering whether the relationship with the team is bad enough that the bike doesn't matter at this point.

I would think Chase would need to make a decision before he is healthy enough to ride. To me, all the changes announced so far, Kawasaki...

Sounds more like the kx450 from 1st/2nd gens power motor and larger feeling chassis

Exactly. People are confused about what mechanics do. They're not engineers. They put the bike together at the beginning of the day. And take it apart at the end. They also hold the rider's umbrellas when they're at the gate. And finally, they write stuff on pitboards.

No they don’t lol. Two of the guys leaving are long tenure guys with the team. One leaving for easier days, staying in the sport and getting paid. The other started his own glove business and wants to go to nascar

I tend to agree, but besides being a solid top-10 guy he brings attention to a team simply because of his "BamBam" history & personality. I don't know if that would warrant a multi-year offer, but he would still be a good investment, I would think.

I think the power is going to be more like the current SR which would be great for us mortals.   Biggest question is how the new frame and swing arm impact handling as that is Chases beef.

yeah i dont think that guy is ever gonna be happy.   Honda, KTM and Kawi and he's had problems on all of them while everyone else is killing it on those bikes.  chasing a 'feeling' to allow him to ride a certain way is a fools errand and id argue he's worse than James stewart. At some point, the rider needs to change.

Yep. He hasn’t been happy since leaving Honda. He knew he would be third rider behind the Lawrences. He hasn’t really adjusted since that.

I’m neutral on the guy. Dude puts off a Matthes vibe.
A move to NC still makes sense if left turn racing is his thing.

Cmon...  you think the good ones know nothing of setup, getting things in the right direction?

How many of the star mechanics are left from the original move from Cali to Tallahassee? Zero after these next few bounce. I’d say they burn through mechanics with there poor pay and how they are worked.

They know about setting up an umbrella so it's easier to hold over the rider.

Chase stalls the bike or tucks the front all too often.  No electric start would be his demise.

I like Chase, but just speaking the truth.
