First new bike since 2007!  Picking it up this weekend, went to the dealer in my work van (Ford Transit). Dying to take it for a spin!

I suck at negotiating, so I paid sticker price. $13,995. They had a deal going on though no dealer fees and got a few other things thrown in. I really wanted the factory version, so I didn’t really care.

Congrats. Those things are beauties.  My buddy picked up the same one, like a month ago. He really likes it. I just got a YZ and am excited to take a spin on his Ducati, to compare. But those Factory Ed Ducatis look like race bikes right off of the showroom. Very cool. You picked a sweet one to purchase, after a long time of not buying new bikes. Enjoy.

Guy has been here since 2008. Would think he would know what “Spoke with my wallet “ means?

Regardless beautiful looking motorcycle. 👍

So what bike followed you home in 2007?

Hope she rides as good as she looks.

Will do! I won't be able to take out for a few weeks unfortunately. I have to work this weekend and get the kids the weekend after. Its going to be hard looking at it in the garage during the week. 🤣

Looks awesome.

What is special on the Factory edition?

Full Akrapovic exhaust, billet triple clamps, DLC and Kashima covered forks, titanium numbered stand, numbered flywheel cover bolt, I believe different porting and suspension settings, skid plate, few other things I am probably forgetting.

Cut the guy some slack.  He is totally stoked on getting a new bike after 20 years.

Congrats! Beautiful bike!

Price means nothing, you can't put a price on what makes you happy.  I honestly can't remember what I paid for the last 10 450's that I've bought over the years. If you got what you wanted, that's all that matters.

Enjoy it 👍

Congratulations!! She is a bad b*tch! I know this will sound silly, but I’m very curious what the titanium stand looks like, that’s totally trick! Is the  edition and it tells you what number out of the total bikes or is it just a number on the bike stand?
look forward to your riding report👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻

That price is amazing that's pretty much on par for the KTM Factory Editions I am impressed that Ducati can do this with I would imagine a smaller assembly line. Awesome bike enjoy👍

There's a video on Vital I watched last night that showed the assembly line for them building the Desmo 450. It was really cool, I was pretty surprised their pricing wasn't a lot more considering Ducati.

I did tell her I was considering it. She's in Los Angeles visiting her family, once I mentioned it to her and she didn't complain I went straight to the dealer. Sorry about your injuries. I've got a replaced knee, so it probably wasn't the best purchase for me. I'm blown away by the electronics these new bikes have and the Ducati app seems really cool for tuning and seeing maintenance schedules.

All good….haven’t had my last injury…lol.  But a wife that still acts excited when I bring home a new bike, more often then I probably should, despite many bikes and injuries is a keeper….and that bike sounds like it will be a blast! Maybe I shou……never mind…
