I saw him win a slap-off contest against a tough competitor.

Ezra came off the track a little upset and said in his interview that didn't expect to have to dig deep like he did when he was racing professionally.  

Ezra holeshot and Jimmy was in 3rd after the first lap. Fastest lap time went to Jimmy. In a 3 moto format, this one could be interesting. 

 

Watching live timing now, they have passed each other few times.. Yogi back in front now..

In the interview he said his goal was to come in healthy and just enjoy the week racing the event with his kid.  He said he met that goal 99.9%.  What he didn't say was that he ate shit off the tabletop after the finish and banged himself up pretty good in practice.  Anyone at 50 that goes down hard, is gonna have to dig deep.  Especially one that has a fused wrist.

I doubt he meant that he wasn't going to have to try and just ride around to a title.

Rodney Carrier. He raced it last year too. Pulled it to LL on a rail trailer behind a VW Beetle.

That hail bail wrap that got around his front wheel , cost him that sx championship .  These retired pro,s should be given 3 choices of bikes from there pro days.  I,d like to see him on his 92 -94 RM 125 .  It they all say I,m here for fun , why don’t they make it fun .  125 b/c every yr is close to the fastest lap times.
