Yeah I was surprised to see that too. I bet the tracks r killer too , being that Pa. Is all hills. Midwest vintage series had 1 race in Wi. & it was cancelled because of no flaggers. I hv to travel to iL. & central Indiana .

04 is the cut off for Evo 5 in the Mo. vintage series in Mo., Ks, IL.  Then that has numerous classes my favorite being 100-125cc , there’s a shit ton of classes.  Alot of riders sign up for 4 classes.  I watched alot of vintage races in America & Europe being injured.  Mid Ohio Looks Nuts & is a massive event . I saw 2 75 250,s battling hard in an expert class. A rider hit the beginning on the sweeper rut . Both legs flew off & he kept it pinned, bikes must hv been jetted spot on. Because they sounder great, watch that. And sign up for 4 classes a 04 is under 08 & under class.  All the tracks look fun , you can go anywhere. Threw a rt corner arch left then right for the next left , keep it on the Mid pulling.   Great flow tracks & I don’t think many riders practice, they just show up & race to get some dicing in .

Yeah you too Bro.  I can’t ride till next June Trauma center said 1 yr before my 7 broken ribs heal solid ovr each other.  I asked about there strength they said it could be stronger.  Immediately I was Extremely Happy ,Yes  I can ride again . Lol  3 or 4 rotator cuffs tore , 1 strained & etc.  my rt eye is messed up.  A breathing tube hole under my arm pit finally healed. Collapsed lung had a hole in it . It pumped my body full of bubbles , left eye to neck was swelled out 3 inches. Day 2 it spread to my knees. Dying a few times in icu , that was weird . Lol I just got back from the ymca move my arm a little in the whirlpool & pool.  I can’t wait to ride again & race vintage races. On fb I saw a Cal. Rider won 3 of 4 classes on a crazy old 74 Montesa or something crazy.  I,ll ripping a trail 70 all night at mid Ohio , get some night racing in for Free. Lol

For what it’s worth.  In 2008 I did the same thing. 7 ribs, collapsed lung, and broken metatarsal in right hand. Chest tube, the whole gambit. 2 days in the hospital.  Rode 3 month after, no issues.  Hang in there, you’ll be back.

Dam you healed fast that’s inspiring, Great to hear.  I broke my 7 on the backside. Hole in lung I got tension pneumothorax. Air leaks between the lung & chest wall.  Massive pressure & pain inside your chest. Pressure on heart & major blood vessels causes fatal drop in BP. Massive pressure can push the heart & major chest organs ovr & jill ya too.  It was crazy I died a few times in icu . Big separation on the Ribs & 1 side is much lower than the other. My chest swelled up big time from the tension pneumothorax . That may hv separated my ribs a lot .

where does the wallet come in? Selling the Beta should have easily covered the KX + some $ left over?

Yep, I got $4700 for the Beta and paid $2600 for the KX.  The money was in my wallet for a short period of time.

The sight of a clean 99-02 KX two stroke gives me a feeling like no other. Something about these bikes is just so good!
