I don't wear a watch, so maybe I just don't understand. I will say this, though: WUT?
Analog watches are just jewelry, so if that's your thing then yes. I have a drawer full of nice relics, but I'm not giving up the all day utility of my Garmins for jewelry. Invaluable for my profession.
You guys are crazy if you don't think Dazzy makes sure they're investing well.
I assumed they had watch deals. I can't see another reason to immediately slam a watch on post moto.

I wear my Garmin Instinct anytime im not sleeping. Riding MX, fishing, hunting, rucking, running , lifting......for everything. If it was 100k, it would prob not even get used.
I should have added the $100K part.
He’s mentioned on a podcast, don’t recall which one, that he’s into watches. I believe they have the ability to maintain some type of value. Also, I believe he said in the same interview that he’d love to be sponsored by one of the bigger brands, he may have said which one but I don’t recall as I’m not into watches, and would wear it while racing to show the durability.
$400.00!! I'm gettin buyers remorse anxiety paying $10.00 for a Rand McNally😆. For our younger audience, a Rand McNally was a map in a large booklet form. The Aussie brothers sound like they will be fine. Their watches and cars are good investments. Just keep your eye on the trends.
RC's major focus at the moment is trying to learn to read.
It's been tough going...
If I google all those brands and stuff I start to understand the new robbery trend.
I love the 488 Pista. When it first debuted in 2017, the sticker was $350,000. They're now going for $800k-$1M.
My friend sold his Grigio Scuro Pista 3-4 years ago for around $550k and thought he made a killing lol....Oops
They've been skyrocketing lately. Can't believe they are where 458 Specialé's were not long ago.
Three things you have to learn to do in life to make money.
The ability to Invest money. Where to put it. What markets, what companies. Why... for how long etc. This is where the top earners make their money.
The most profitable one is #3. It's also the hardest one to master... due to all the scams and get rich quick offers.
Just get yourself a nice MB&F if you have a lot of extra ca$h!
Yikes. Especially in that color.
Here is how you post a link and a screen shot so people know better what the you are posting about in the first place.

Most normies assume Rolex are the tippy top when they're mostly middle class fancy so the status conscious have to go up a level. It's like Benz vs maybach. Rappers like Future have popularized ap and patek, ironically. The Cristal effect. Richard mille famously sponsors cyclists who race with their monstrosities and formula 1 teams, among others.
There's a bunch of insane houses out there. Check out the German https://www.alange-soehne.com/us-en and some of the wildly complex complications they come up with.
Pit Row
How can you love watches, but had never heard of Patek Philippe?
My son-in-law inherited an Audemars Piguet from his grandfather. It’s from sometime around 1910 or so I think (maybe 1920s, not 100% sure). It survived his great grandfather’s journey out of Europe after Kristallnacht.
It hadn’t been maintained very well, but when we lived in Dallas, we took it to the Audemars Piguet location there and they appraised it for refurbishment. It was sent out (to Switzerland I think) and returned 10 months later fully tuned up and slightly better looking (needed a new crystal and band). It was a 5 figure maintenance job but at the value it has it was really a drop in the bucket.
I'm not afraid to say they're way out of my price range.... Be like me browsing Lambos. I don't because I can't afford one. Not sure if you know this but there are quality watches that look great that are more affordable for the middle class. Sorry I'm not at your income level, my bad.
You’re probably at my income level but I’m never going to have a Patek Philippe either! I’m a Timex guy if I feel like spending money, otherwise I use those $8 Target disposable watches because they get destroyed at work too quickly.
I think that the ‘Big 4’ of watches are probably Rolex (even though they have some affordable models too), Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, and Richard Mille. I’ll never own one from any of them…..
My friend spent more getting his Rolex serviced than my Apple Watch cost.
The new “smart” watches are unbelievable, basically unthinkable not that long ago- things mine can do that a Rolex can’t:
More accurate GPS than most planes - 2 receivers, 5 systems!
Send texts via satellites.
Call for help if I’m rendered unconscious after crashing my bike.
Becomes a depth gauge when submerged.
As well as all the normal text/email stuff.
The expensive mechanical watches are jewellery and status symbols.
I have a Garmin which is badass for GPS, nav, elevation, HR, keeping track of stuff.
Sign up for Troll Training. I got a pretty sizable discount on my Garmin forerunner 265 thanks to Alex’s deals on there
A year ago I didn’t know what a Patek Philippe was either but I googled the worth of a watch I inherited and that’s when I learned a lot about watches I couldn’t afford and found out the one I inherited was one I could actually afford but would never buy. I wore it once so far, to a wedding.
sometimes its nice having a piece of equipment you dont have to charge that doesn't give off a signal or emf and that still keeps good time and can time stuff when needed using bezel or chrono. i wear a garmin too, but enjoy wearing my titanium tudor w/ +/- 2spd kenissi movement because i dont have to worry about charging it. and the nato strap is more comfortable than silicone.
apple is a cool watch but that battery wont last forever and apple being apple, wont sell you a new one when its cycled out. rolex service is ~$700 and will run for ten years+ with out being touched. and they retain value.
I hope they don't listen to Morrisey good god
That’s what a lot of folks thought about JS7. Spoiler, he’s doing fine.
