Yes, a few years ago Anderson and Zach spent time testing all the MXGP frames leading up to the MXDN but opted to stay on their original US setups….Now as far as Barcia being selected on the team…come on man…

Hymas could be a decent pick, if he keeps going like he is, and Beaumer would be a solid pick too. Plus his dad is French, so maybe he gels well there?
JCoop will be back at Unadilla and would probably be the best pick with Deegan….don’t know what to think with 250’s….at this point none of them can put together 2 consistent moto’s.
With the race being in Ernee and France having Febvre, Valin and Renaux to chose, I don't see how they could lose.
If Deegan gets invited, and he doesn't turn it down for the fourth consecutive year, make him ride the 250.
Three months ago, our learned moto journalists were calling him the best 250 rider in the world.
This time last year people were giving Prado shit saying how he was poor because he couldn’t even beat Marchbanks. This year, Marchbanks is the third best American rider in the 450 class

Belgium is going to be a threat too. Coenen - Everts - Coenen is a strong team. If you don't like Everts on a 450, you have Geerts on the Beta putting in top 10's.

I believe all of the teams use their country's sanctioning body's equivalent of the director of racing. I personally think that if it has to be an AMA dude, it should be J-Bone.

I've heard/read somewhere that Calvin Vlaanderen shows interest to race under the South African flag again. Seems logical, as he was born there. He would make a great combo with Camden McLellan, who had to bear the weight of the team on his own the passed years. And with Tristan Purdon, who has experience in the MXGB-scene, they could even do very well. Don't know if this rumour is true, though.
Netherlands has plenty of options to replace Vlaanderen, with Van de Moosdijk or Coldenhoff. If they don't want to put De Wolf on a 250 they could select Karssemakers for the MX2 bike aswell.
Calvin Vlaanderen said he is ''open'' to race for SA but not sure if the SA federation are open to it themselves given the massive fall out they had earlier in his career. But I agree it would make quite a strong team.
Imagine a team South Africa with Calvin, Camden and Webster (South Africa born). For team NL I’d go Herlings, Karssemakers and De Wolf (assuming Calvin is riding for RSA)
