I'm sure you'll find somebody else to bitch and complain about...it'll be ok..
And was back on and passed Barcia in just a couple laps… His no quit attitude is tops in the class right now.
To be clear, Deegan was not going to catch Jett after Jett’s off track excursion. Jett is faster. But looking at the laptimes holds the answer to your question.
Deegan was running laps pretty consistent with Jett (after Jett’s off track line choice) until the last three laps. Jett definitely picked up the pace, but the real factor is that Deegan dropped off big time in the last two laps. He went from consistent 2:17 and 2:18 lap times to a 2:21 and 2:24, so my guess is Deegan was either tired or just knew he wasn’t going to catch Jett so he settled in and cruised for the last two laps while Jett was still pressing.
I don’t think deegan had a single lap that was faster that Jett’s other than when Jett fell……

It's amazing how clueless you are about everything regarding this sport. I bet you are AI . You have to be a bot. How many forums do you do this on? Vital pickle Ball? Vital Chicken Farmers UNITED ? VITAL Bass Fishing Forums? Enough already dude. Go to the dark web or what ever the fuck you do in your basement!!, Rant over. Sorry everyone. I couldn't help myself. I'm on my 3rd Mich Ultra and had to vent. heh
Yep. Him and his fans knew this weekend was his best chance, his favorite track and the brothers least. And then he gets a minute out on him first moto and is right next to Jett yet gets dropped the last laps of the moto 2. Definitely not getting closer, no matter how much they say it, but maintaining the times from the start of the season.
Deegan went from 37th to 4th by lap 7. RJ went from 40th to 12th by lap 9. The two aren’t comparable, and most certainly, one isn’t as impress as the other, though both are impressive.
Yep he finished 19 seconds back with arguably one of his best starts so what progress are we talking about? He finished about 20 seconds back at pala with terrible starts.
Nice response with zero content.
Back to the issue at hand, do you think Eli's performance was good in any way? In the past coming back from injury, well into the season he has not performed this badly. I don't think not knowing the bike well outdoors can also account for this. He looked sluggish, and lacked any aggression. I'm an Eli fan. I'm simply pointing out the facts.
The block function is awesome. You can see what the trolls say with a click, or you can walk right on by..
Yep, some people need to utilize the block button
In this tread we’ve got internet heroes talking shit on Lil’ Deegs (who’s the current up & coming guy in the premier class) & Eli (who’s riding his way back from “Sudden Impact”)…
And all of this makes it very clear to me that…
The internet gives voice to Whackadododles that spend way too much time on mommy’s computer.
Also, what’s with the gay-dude-fetish pics of Brian with those Kardashian lips? Dude, that’s Too Gay (not that there’s anything wrong with that!).
🐿️
What does lmaooo mean?
Who is out that can challenge the brothers ?
I walk right on by those without even needing the block…
Laughing My Ass Off Over Orange Orangutans….
C’mon man. 😉
Agreed with you the whole way until you stated “closing the gap”.
Deegan's problem isn't "speed" I think he shows it in qualifying. Its consistency. The camera crew doesn't catch all of it, but on the few times Haiden is "close" to them you seem him make the small (even big some times) mistakes pushing it to close in where as the brothers make far less mistakes lap to lap.
So you can view that different ways depending on your opinion of Haiden but i'd say fixing the in race mistakes is far easier than trying to locate more raw speed which he has shown he has. In my view, his raw speed is farther along than in moto to moto / lap to lap consistency. Which is to be expected.
There is also other factors during the race like the track breaking down, finding better lines and making quick passes.
Pit Row
As usual, Manny brings common sense to the forefront.
Jett had a fast lap of almost 3 seconds faster than Deegan. Hunter’s was 2+. Speed is an issue. If Deegan is going to beat the Lawrence’s, he’s going to have to get faster.

That's what happens with a chaotic riding style. Jett and increasingly hunter are locked in at all times and everything is much more predictable. Their inputs are measured and pre-emptive. It's cool to see both approaches at the highest level tho.
A couple of things. One is that Jett and Hunter’s style and techniques learned at an early age, lends itself to the 450 better than the 250.
Secondly, they’ve had more time on the 450 to develop those techniques and practices.
So the transition to the 450 for both of them, in particular, Jett, has been much smoother and quicker. I do think when Deegan builds up to that and gets his style adapted to the 450 and perfected he is going to be a threat for both wins and titles. But it’s not gonna happen this year and it might not possibly happen next year. But I think sooner or later he’s going to be a threat.
Whatever you need to tell yourself bud. He hasn’t had the fastest lap in a single moto. Speed is definitely an issue
Everyone knew Hunter and Jett’s riding style would translate immediately to a 450. I don’t think anyone really thought haidens style would translate.
Cole Davies style should translate when it's time.....
That’s a lot of ifs in your post. Coulda woulda shoulda…
Get a grip.
Way to go to shit on RJ.
You contradicted yourself within the last two sentences. It adds nothing to the conversation and just shows your bias.
He had plenty of opportunity to learn. He has had 3 first turn crashes before this one. But yeah he is definitely fixing his mistakes fast. Just like he is closing the gap each and every weekend.
And ride more efficiently. Jett looks like he’s using half of the energy during a race than his competition
