If they fix the transmission and clutch issues, I’d buy one in a heartbeat

In 2026 these should not even be things.

Idk I think one championship with 1 guy on a suzuki doesnt sell a lot of bikes, but making a good bike and winning a lot sure worked out for ktm… and now yamaha. Those are the 2 most popular bikes now. Its not the only thing but I think sustained success throughout multiple classes and championships sells bikes.

Worked out great for KTM.  They went broke and now they’re an Indian company.  Speaking of broke, ask Lucas Coenen and Prado about reliability since the Indian takeover.  There’s a lot more to making money selling bikes than just winning races.

You think Bajaj went in and changed sourcing partners used to build the current factory bikes? 😂

People sometimes.

Triumph motorcycles have always had reliability issues. They need to fix that reputation and they did not do that. The market is too saturated

Between, the elec, Chinese options, Japan, Ktm, Beta etc. something has to give. Tracks are shutting down all over America. If we don’t have any place to ride there will be no bikes to sell.

What a bummer. Did you have issues with yours?

I've seen maybe 2 between Oklahoma and Texas. Are they selling any bikes?

I was talking to a big Triumph dealer here in FL, and the only way they've been able to move the 250 or 450 is by giving them away price wise.

Said more Ducati 450's move than the Triumphs.

OT, but locally I haven't seen any on any track/trail from East to west coast of FL.

I’ve heard that triumph is only going to be running one 250 next year. To me this is crazy if your a new brand trying to expand your image. I’m a big fan and they had a great 4 man team that didn’t pan out last year but you gotta have bikes out there and 1 250 supercross rookie seems like a major failure to me. The only thing I can think of that they might try keep the 450 in house and farm out the 250 program to a team in 2028. If that’s the case it’s understandable and I think could be a better option.

If it hasn’t been answered yet, the team will be

450 Smith and AP

250 Deano and another rider not signed yet.

I heard they were looking but haven’t been able to get anyone up to there expecting yet.

My 250 has been excellent so far. Got a great deal on it last spring. After a year of owning it I’d buy the bike again if I had to do it over.

Been seeing a handful of them at the tracks lately as well.

If anyone knows of a grenaded 250 Triumph roller,  LMK.

Wild that we have 10ish choices for a 250f or 450.
