Still very much believe we have guys capable of filling the top 10, but our guys refuse to actually setup their bikes for outdoors. They still run such a stiff SX like setup compared to any Euros or Aussies. Show me an American that runs in the top 5 with a bike setup anywhere close to as plush and comfortable as the Lawrence’s, Coenans, Roczen or any other foreign rider.
You won’t find it. I truly believe that it hurting our guys more than anyone will ever admit.

I know comparing era's, bikes, riders and tracks is all just a guess. But saying levels and speeds are at a all time high, has anyone actaully looked at lap times over the past 20 years? Surley if the bikes are better and the riders faster it would show some sort of trend that laptimes are dropping by 5 seconds etc....yes I know weather, track changes etc...are a huge variable, but take take 10 tracks compare over the last 20 years seems there should be a pretty noticable trend of lower laptimes. Personally i dont think the lap times are much different.
My guess Stewart, Charmicheal, Villipoto are just as fast as Jett, we know hearling has beat Cohen a few times too.
Regardless today should be very competitive racing for the top 5 in 450s. 250s id say it is all aready over.
You make good points. I will say the 250 class over here can be unpredictable though. Mainly because of crashes.
