After a few years, riders like the Lawrence’s basically become Americans In my eyes. Doubt they plan on ever leaving. Just like Roczen, he’s more American than a lot of riders born in the US lol

It’s so funny to constantly see the Deegan camp play the ‘tough guy’ role yet have the thinnest skin in the game. On yesterday’s pulp show Randy said Brian called him a shit talking hater because of this hilarious post. For an entire family that has based their life around social media, you would think they would understand it comes with some of this stuff.

Randy is 100% blocked by deegan now I bet

Im not a huge Deegan fan but I love how bad the single mention of his name just completely fucks with so many people here.

Hate is an expensive emotion. It means you "care" which is the real irony in the Deegan "hate". lol

I’m not sure why this keeps coming up lately. A lot of chatter at red bud also about no Americans on the overall podium. Two of our fastest guys are out with injury. One of them is in the twilight of his career. The other doesn’t seem to gel with whatever bike he’s on and arguably at times has the filling of a Twinkie for a brain while racing. Personally I love rooting for riders and families that risked it all to come here from their home country, assimilate, work their asses off, find success, and end up saying on the podium “we love it here”. That is 100% what America was always about and as far as I’m concerned people like that are as American as anyone born here.

When you’ve been a long, LONG time mx fan, you remember the days when “first American” was a friggin big deal. You also remember the days when Americans absolutely dominated the MXoN and when it seemed like we were invincible. Now that we’re back to watching the rest of the world take our titles and prizes, there should be no surprise when some of us question it. We’re not saying those fast foreigners don’t deserve their flowers (as the kids say, lol), we just want to be back on top.

Don’t get me wrong I’d love nothing more than an American rider to be back on top as well, it just seems to be getting blown up more lately. It’s cyclical, and eventually a US rider will dominate. Who it would be matters to me though. I loved the RD, RV, ET type rider. Work, win, and shut up…let your riding do the talking. .Unfortunately I don’t see anyone that fits that criteria I can get behind at the moment so I just enjoy the riders that do that from other places.

I hear you, and tbh, I am a huge Lawrence fan, just as I was a fan of DeCoster, Bayle, Townsend, Vuillemin, Tortelli and so many others. I don’t know if I agree that mx dominance is cyclical though, I think it’s more intentional than accidental. I think the American program is overdue for an overhaul.

We know how he broke his collarbone.

That was never a claim made about his wrist - I love this place "he said in an interview"

Post it.

Post one place where he claimed he had a sprained wrist that took a week to heal, and not that he had surgery to remove protruding screws.

Ya'll call HIM a douche but then just make shit up.

They found a fracture during the SX season, did a surgery, and then removed the screws after the season.

Good job Sherlock.

Starting to wonder if there's an IQ above 70 here, holy shit.

You said, "they found a fracture during the season, did a surgery, then removed the screws after the season."

Are you trying to convince us that he had wrist surgery during the season and didn't miss a race? Because you don't need wrist surgery for a minor sprain during the off season. Sherlock.

I know you're not trying to convince us that he waited until after the last race, got a quick surgery, then got the screws removed right away.

From Google AI: Screws from wrist surgery are generally removed between 6 to 12 months after the initial operation, once the bone is completely healed. However, there is no required timeline; the hardware can remain in your wrist permanently if it is not causing you any pain or irritation.

Oh, what a tangled web we weave...

Wouldn't mind another one of these Podiums, if I am honest!

Aussies have to enjoy the moment for the next couple of years while Jett and Hunter continue to ride they way they do, then it will be back to USA/Euro's on the top.

Aussies fill the AMA podium - Southwick - 2009

Yep, everyone in the industry says if he wanted to ride mxdn he could have (2 years ago). The deegan fans will never believe it though

Yeah bro, I dunno. Theres enough stuff to legitimately criticize the Deegans for, I don’t think your AI altered photos really serve any purpose other than you just looking like a complete weirdo.

You're offended because Brian's offended, but Randy's the one who needs to grow up? Randy's been doing goofy things for a laugh for years, and that's all he's doing here.

I couldn’t give a flying fuck about Brian…. Just pointing out a 60 year old trolling a 20 year old on social media is quite childish. I’m of the opinion social media should be left for the kids.

If it's not too childish for you, you really should look up the definition of "trolling," because what Randy did isn't it.

It's hardly even making fun of him. That's the best part to me. He's just re-created it. Light parody of Deegan is not allowed, only unabashed glazing.

Impressive list. We should add in all the others from countries outside the USA. I love seeing all the different people here, and their respect toward our country. Like TC222 and his wife wearing our colors was awesome to see!

Are you saying he is a nepo baby. Most nepo kids post a lot on their socials while eating at the finest restaurants, partying at the best festivals and raves, traveling the planet in private jets, and having fun with there nepo friends on yachts.

If he owns some nice cars like a lot of other top racers, it's because he earned it.

What I see from Deegs is busting his fucking ass to be the best. Sweating, working out, proper diet that sacrifices pleasure foods, road biking 50 miles 4 days a week, and grinding moto's.

Yeah, the guy does what we all love and is possibly the current fastest American on a 450 and he's just a piece of shit to all the haters. Sad

.If you could comprehend reading 101, you'll note I was inferring quite clearly,  that instagram pictures shown implies him to be a nepo child

So I pointed out he busts his ass but didn't need to because he could jet set around the world.

I was not comparing him to the other pros of our sport, AND I shouldn't have to point that out but it clearly went over you head!

Yeah it's awesome. I always find myself rooting for people that move to another series. Doesnt happen as often the other way round but it was also cool to see people like Harrison, Sanayei, Jimmy D etc do the GPs
