I love the blue, looks fantastic!! If i didnt have a 16 in yellow and black, i would be doing this. Instead im anodizing them bronze along with the stock hubs. After a nice polish job to match the fork tubes.
white frame?? So... it's a wheelie boy, got ya...
White frames are nothing new, guys. I don't remember my friend having a particularly hard time keeping his '97 YZ250 clean.
As long as we’re necro bumping 10 year dead threads, I’d give Ol Lefty for this White frame!

He have a guy in the UK that cleaned it for him? Boot cleaning was probably pro bono...
I like how the Blue came out and all the white. I'm not sure I would want my bike to have those colors. But I do think it looks good and I have been thinking about doing a white frome on a bike I have if I end up building a display bike. That shade of blue would work on one of the ways I was thinking of building it too. In the past I always end up not going wild with changing up colors like that because I prefer the clean look that most Factory race teams run.
I think that the white will be easier to keep looking good than black. Black shows everything. White will hide light scratches and dust. Just ask anybody who paints cars which is easier to care for and or which one shows defects easier.
Its kinda funny how people will post replies on Husqvarna photos saying the frames should all be white on them. But are not a fan of the white YZ. I think its mostly because a painted frame of any color is going to be harder to keep looking good when compared to a bare aluminium frame. And people are used to seeing the bare frames on the Japanese bikes so its not the same thing when somebody wants to paint one of them as it is with the KTM brands since they are always painted. But I do think it's kinda funny how that's the reflex reaction.
PDR is the best.
