If everyone is healthy and Kawasaki sends riders, who does the USA send?
- Tomac (mxgp)
- Deegan (open)
- Kitchen (mx2)
250:
Deegan (would he race a 250?)
Kitchen
Hammaker
Beaumer
DiFrancesco
Hymas
450:
Tomac
Deegan
Hampshire
Marchbanks
Plessinger
Webb
Sexton
Cooper
By the end of the year it'll be..
RJ
Haiden
Levi
38 wont go.
Tomac
Kitchen
Deegs
With how important the MX2 class is I feel like putting Deegan on a 250 would be a good move. At Ernee he could probably win a moto on it. Marvin and Vialle both got close

Just leaving that here before anyone brings that up.. No, you can't claim Kenny, we only have him and Simon, leave us alone 😂
Does Nagl still do the des nations?
wonder if Nagl does it one more time. He is STILL pretty damn solid in adac mx masters. No offense to them but with Spies/Koch we aint having the slightest chance of a good result
I think nagl and his team would. But with his recent injury, maybe not.
Kitchen on the 250 would almost guarantee we'd be using the 1-moto drop on him. Hammaker looks solid, and Beaumer might catch fire.
I say leave Deegan on the 450, as he's been quite good, but will he go? The other 450/open rider is a huge tossup for me. Tomac might be a good choice if he can come back. Justin Cooper is hurt, but may be great when he comes back. Sexton is a headcase; I'm all out on him. Hampshire might be our best bet if Tomac can't go.
I have no clue tbh. 2024 he said that was likely his last MXON, but at that point he probably didn't even think about still riding to this day. Speed wise he'd still be the 3rd best rider.
He was leading the Masters actually again until this weekend in Tensfeld where he had a pretty big crash, they suspected a broken back even, but based on the latest update it luckily turned out to be false and only his T4 vertebra might have a slight crack. The next Masters race is in 2 months and he said he'll be there. I can't link instagram because I don't have an account, but apparently he gave an update there.
Yeah youre right. Luckily his injury is nowhere near as serious as initially feared. He plans to return at Gaildorf which is at the beginning of August.
EDIT: Mav was faster I see 😄
The one moto drop will more than likely come from the 250 spot regardless of the rider. Unless its Deegan and I don't imagine him dropping down.
Justin Cooper has more speed that RJ.
Well you wouldn’t have to worry about Sexton going anyways…..he’s on a Kaw…I would be more concerned whether or not either Kitchen or Hammaker would be allowed to go…Kaw could throw a huge monkey wrench into team USA’s plans (as they have in the past) by not allowing them to go…Kaw has not supported a non US MXDN since 2012….
Dngr hasn’t decided which two riders he wants to bring with him yet.
Im assuming he takes his teammate Cooper and then probably Kitchen if they are all healthy at that time.
Invite Deegan but make him ride the 250. He's the best 250 rider in the world, right? Plus, he's missed this op opportunity for the last few years, even though he really wanted to go 😁
I agree with most of this, but Marchbanks may be the fastest right now excluding Tomac, Deegan, Sexton. Plus, he knows how to come through the pack, and will keep charging until the end.
For the 250 riders, I believe you nailed it. Yet, Kitchen showed some grit last weekend.
We're going to have a good team this year!
Many of you may want to re-set your teams….Kaw riders won’t be going…
Our best chance to win would be Tomac, Sexton, Deegan(250) but Tomac, Hampshire or AP, Deegan (250) will probably be the best available.
Pit Row
Whoever is healthy and wants to go and doesn't ride a Kawi.
Can you guys pick Kitchen or Hammaker so we can see another PC bike with USA plates
Is there a specific reason Kawi doesn't send their guys?
Deegan will find a way out
Sexton hurt
Tomac hurt
I'd go
Mx1 deegan
Mx2 hammaker
Mx3 kitchen
Young team. Time for the next generation.
No Lawrence's - so it's kind of open for the win
Tomac, Roczen, Deegan (250)
J. COOP, Deegan, Kitchen.
whos our team manager this year?
Belgium is going be the favourite, with the Coenen’s and Everts. France will be strong again with Febvre, Valin and either Renaux or Vialle on the other 450 (and home track).
Team management doesn’t support it…hasn’t since current guys came on in 2014…namely Bruce Stjernstrom….
Mike Pelletier…same as last year
I thought the whole Kawi debacle was because of "The Man"? He's no longer the team manager
