To the guys running T4 / T4+, what is your plan?  Just keep using it or make a change?

Unfortunately it's about the only option for me that can be picked up. Still researching but if I can find something else like fuel factory or sunoco locally, switching to that. I'd like to run 100ll but the local airports won't sell it unless you have credentials.

Same issue here. Sonoco is 1.5hrs away (more with traffic). I suppose I could buy enough to make 1-2 trips a year for convenience, but I don’t like sitting on that much fuel in my garage.

Local shop used to sell Renegade, and possibly Sonoco, but only does VP now.

Have any of you tried renegade fuel? With all the Vp issues of late , I bought my first pail of renegade instead of T4 and they shipped right to my door. I believe it was pretty much same price as T4. Might be a better option for all the T4 guys .

Haven't yet tried the Renegade. Which did you go with? Looks like shipping is about $60 for me. If I can't track down something cheaper I may spring for a pail and try it out. Looks like the pulp code knocks about $10 off the mx4.

Maybe try local auto repair shops?  Their bulk oil supplier may also sell sunoco or vp, etc.  I get sunoco 110 from my bulk oil place for very good prices.  My sales rep takes my empty pails on Friday, and the delivery truck brings them back full on Monday.

Has anyone had an issue with their KTM? Recently bought a 2025 250 SXF from a guy who ran T4+ in it, bike has 20 hours. Took it out today for the first time, bike ran great, however every now and then it would completely bog out on the landings of jumps. I would go to rip the throttle as I land and would instantly bog, I would try to downshift or clutch out of it and nothin’, it would bog all the way dead. It would happen usually one time a lap but was sporadic. I thought it was an electrical thing because it’s strictly on landings but all my grounds are solid so I don’t think that’s the issue. I pulled my inline fuel filter when I got home and found teal chunks in it, assuming that’s from the fuel.

Curious to hear what you guys think and if I should inspect anything else outside of swapping this filter

That’s pretty much exactly what was going on with my 450 when I was using T4+. I put a new fuel pump in it over the winter. I think there are certain o-rings or something you can change out but the bike almost killed me doing it on a jump once and I wasnt taking any chances, so I just went with a whole new pump.

I did contact vp about this… their customer service really does suck and it’s a struggle to get a hold of anyone most of the time, but I did have two pales of t4+ that I didn’t trust to use, they asked for pictures of them with the date code and offered to send me replacements. I usually run vpr and honestly have no trust in the t4, so I asked them if they would send me vpr instead, which they agreed to do, so that was really cool of them… but a new fuel pump wasnt cheap.

I just ordered a pal of ETS to try, their customer service has been awesome and they have answered any questions I have had. The cost of shipping sucks but if I like it, you get free shipping on orders over 80 gallons. It would suck to buy that much fuel at once but might as well just bite the bullet and order my fuel for the year and save some money. Unfortunately they have no dealers near me. Even vp is hard to find around here.

I freaking love the smell of T4. Run it in my mower, blower, trimmer, CT110, cologne, air freshener, body wash.

60% of the time it works every time.

Has there been any reports on VP-110? Either good or bad?

Never had an issue with the 110. Even some that was close to three years old (opened, but sealed barrel). It's just straight leaded race fuel with no BS additives.

I've had issues with the T4/T4+ and have gone back to straight pump fuel. Never lost a fuel pump, but had bad popping and stuttering at times.  When I need the octane I blend in VP-110 accordingly with pump fuel to get me to where I need.

Was it a KTM 450?

I have been running VP C9 with excellent results … it’s nothing fancy but less than T4 and doesn’t stink up the whole garage and house like T4!

Did you check it prior? Or just swap out the fuel pump to be safe

No, Honda, but same exact issue. I haven’t had a problem all year after replacing the fuel pump and using vpr.

Has anybody had experience with ETS race fuels? I noticed they've started sponsoring the nationals and I think Eli's bike had a sticker on it.

I've never seen them around here in Texas, but did have an engine builder recommended them once.

I switched from T4 to ETS MX21. Best move I ever made. Bike runs amazing.

I just ordered some mk18 that came in today. Shipping was quick but expensive. If I like it I’ll probably just order enough fuel for the season which would be enough to get free shipping.
