If he was this good at such unique track, with altitude, I'm gonna say he's winning Southwick. He's practically born on sand, Herlings can't par him on sand, so it should be an interesting race at Southwick.

I might have to go to Southwick now. Its an awful track to spectate at in person and most years I'd rather just watch on tv. Lucas vs Jett though will be worth it

He also tore his shoulder up in SX this year. Coming off that. Definitely not riding as good as he could which is a shame.

Clearly the lack of depth of talent in the 250 class gave Deegz a false sense of accomplishment coming into 450’s.

As a fan of American motocross racers. It’s a tough time and probably will be for a long while

It's the worst we've ever seen in America.

yeah maybe he just wants to go thru a full season for once and riding a bit reserved who knows. Tho cant really do that if u want to stay on a team like HRC

Has to be pretty tough on him mentally. Deegan out of the class but all kind of young hotshots are filling the class

Naw...he's actually doing pretty dang good.  I'd be happier for him if I liked him more.

I bet Simon and the rest of the MX2 guys are pumped to see where their level is

Sasha has a physique and riding style reminiscent of Ricky Carmichael in his 125 days.

I cant put my finger of who he reminds me with his technique and stature. Pourcel? Bagget?

100%, a checkout like that is pretty rare in MX2

I say it way too often but the amateur system in the US needs a major overhaul. Riders don't get the right experience at a young enough age. Entire careers are decided on ONE week and ONE track per year with Loretta's. People are allowed to sandbag way too much. The American series has MXGP beat on most fronts but the EMX system is a million times better than SMX Next and the combines

What? Outside of cutting the track, he is beating all but the Lawrence's consistently. I would say he is showing pretty good accomplishment.

He reminds me a bit of Forkner pre-injuries

So glad we are not seeing shimoda vs Ryder. And now Jo passes him off screen. Way to go, bondo.  Great job.

Holding off Shimoda is a tough task but this overall would be insane!

So many great storylines in the 250 class and Nick's success might be my favorite. Make sure you watch his "How was your weekend" interviews with Swap. You want to see a guy who's so appreciative of his ride, its Nick

As this is the outdoors, the commentary about the Coenen's makes sense. Let's not forget the X factor for both of them though. When they come here they will be expected to race SX, how much of that have they been practicing?

And given that he's got 95 races on the 250, he's no-doubt been far more seen on the 250s all these years since 2018.  It's cool to see him improving, especially with all the switching it up over these years.

I truly expected him to spank'em. We just had to wait a little...

We got to see the two sides of Sasha: win or crash -often several times.
