Yes 4 strokes are a lot more expensive to rebuild If something goes south that's why I ride 2 strokes
Having the Two best holeshot artists in the sport of SX and MX go from holeshoting every race to rounding every first turn mid pack after they switch to the 350 may be a little worse on the PR side..

Every bike breaks, a little black eye for the 350 but nothing big. I actually never really thought the 350 would be competitive in a desert race. I'm sure more people were suprised @ how it was beating competition, than they were that it broke.
They are always the ones who spout their bullshit up front and act like they know everyfuggin thing in the world, then, once proven wrong they shut their mouths only long enough to jump on the bandwagon then with only slight hesitation they start touting their long time support of the person/product/idea that they had been vehemently spewing their shit storm upon.
Just sayin...
Kurt was on a 250-2T at Catalina and it blew-up...too.
I'm jus' sayin'...
i remember we were at one of the check points and he came through so fast that there was no way he was going to be able to stop. he stopped, i marked his fender, and he was gone. there was a huge gully right after the check point and he pinned it right over that bitch, i'm talking 15 feet from a dead stop. guy was simply amazing.
speaking of PR, what about Shorty's Honda not even starting a moto, (ignition) or Millsaps mechanical dnf at Millevillle 2yrs ago, Reed's Yami at Daytona, ouch! etc etc, too many examples to list from all mfc's
Pit Row
the 350 kicks ass!
The BS people make-up is amazing.
Can you tell me why KTM would bash the 450's, when they make one.
Promoting the 350 - yes. KTM bashing something they make - I don't think so.
I am a die hard 2 stroke guy, I have tried 450's, the only 4 stroke that I am even interested in right now is that 350. If I see one, I will beg to take it for a spin.
Really?
I'm thinking KTM is probably pretty happy with the 350 in SX so far. Three 350's made the main last week, one finished top ten, none finished last.
Go and check the stats from last years SX and find me one main event where Short was higher than 4th off the start.
Furthermore, do you honestly regard Short (or Alessi) in the same category as Stewart, Villopoto, Dungey and Reed on a Supercross track?
