In terms of line choice he rides exactly like Webb does, just a little bit faster over the course of a clean lap and way faster in the whoops. And Webb can't handle that. It's just funny how Webb gets the benefit of the doubt and his racing is "crafty" and Prado is "dirty." Literally the announcers will say Webb rides like he has eyes in the back of his head.

You guys with the passive aggressive digs that Prado is faster than Webb... You do realize where Webb finished vs Prado in the championship right? It may happen soon, but it definitely hasn't yet.

I paid for the MXGP-TV season pass the Year Prado won is first MXGP World Championship.

First race of the season he holeshot quailifying and nobody passed him. He rarely got passed ever when he holeshot, he came from behind and win motos. Prado is so slow and such an asshole he repeated with back to back MXGP world championships.

There is a lot of hate being expressed toward him - Try to remember you opinion is not univerally accepted as factual. Prado is easily one of the top ten fasted Motocross racers on the planet in 2026 . . . iis that opinion or fact? I'm not going to make myself look like an ass trying to prove I'm right and you are wroing if you disagree

Apparently they haven’t noticed how far back Webb and JC came from to catch Prado who got the holeshot….something is going on when they came from outside the top 10 and over a rhythm section away to the point you couldn’t even see them in the background to catch him but get held up by Prado…

You're correct to a certain degree. This wasn't an issue in his title years (specially in Mx2 and in 2023/2024) where he was so much faster than everyone and even when he didn't holeshot just blew the doors off the competition. But specially when he moved up to MXGP the first 2-3 years he pretty quickly gained his reputation on the track.. and for good reason. A lot of MXGP riders openly spoke about him in interviews and how he rides way too dangerous. Once he isn't the fastest and has to fight for his position, he starts taking other riders lines before obstacles, cross jumps, brake checks etc. This isn't "hate", that's how he actually rides. 

Just one of many examples and videos out there. Even before the actual cross jump here, look what Prado did around the 20 second mark. Taking Herlings line before the drop down (there was maybe a bike length between them), luckily Herlings reacted quickly, that could have been even uglier than the cross jump two corners later. And this how he rode constantly when he wasn't the fastest guy.

Last year I couldn't stand Prado's personality. This year, I find myself liking him more and more. He's hilarious at times and I like that he's ruffling those guys feathers. Riders are all such carbon copies of each other these days with minimal personality. 

How lucky are we that we get to literally have the villain from the Ricky Bobby movie in real life here and our sport is so much better for it now that he's found his competitive swagger again.

It's a clear case of emotional bias. As you point out, any criticisms of Webb are reframed...

9th after sitting out 3 races and 3 points penalty after sound test. Could easily have been behind Chase.
Don`t know why you`re mentioning AP when Prado beat him in 6 of 7 races this season.

It's as clear as day Prado is a vastly more talented rider than Cooper Webb. Just look at them ride. It's only a matter of time before Prado puts his superior speed together more often and for the whole race in SX. Webb knows this which is why he's crying about it...

Coulda fooled me. The races I’ve been to over the last 2 years.. I haven’t heard one cheer during opening ceremonies. I’m almost embarrassed for him. Not trying to shit on him. I like his style. But he definitely doesn’t have many fans

I gota respect the guy for being as good as he is with the small amount of SX racing experience he has had. Compared to Webb anyway who has been racing SX forever. I am a Webb fan, but come on bro

They both ride a wide bike and pull that drifting over into another line shit. The whining on this forum about Prado is incredible... If someone who is a THREE-time Supercross champion can't pass a near-rookie, they're doing badly, and it's not Prado. As for the fans, while we're here worrying about this, his bank account is getting fatter! Stamp it

Webb = 3rd place

Prado = 9th place

I completely agree that Prado has a higher than Webb starting right now, But he isn't faster yet, as was proven over this season. And I highly doubt Prado is going to amass 3 SX championships.

I also agree that Prado as a personality is a lot more likeable this year, so I want to be clear I am not shit talking Prado, I am shit talking all the people here that think he already has everything in the bag. It is still very possible that he never wins any Championship in the US. He apparently knows this better than all the people here speaking for him, which is why he is putting in work.

So the whole pits have got the shits with Prado cross jumping, slowing in the corners so riders cant cut down. Matthes has mentioned it and I think Lewis or ML has too.

In the GPs he did the same thing to Herlings etc 

Everyone’s talking about it but on here he rides fine!!!

He is a great starter, but I find him painful with his antics. Looking forward to Bam sawing his front end off.
