We were told it could never be done. That the bike was heavy, slow and needed a button! Stand proud and carry the yellow flag, tonight we feast!

It is all those things…and still a great machine.

So cool seeing yellow back on top. I hope Suzuki never stops being involved with moto.

Probably need to reevaluate those horrible shootout rankings.

Still have a 2008 RM250 sitting in my brother's garage collecting dust. Probably going to end up selling it. I can no longer ride and he's busy raising a family and growing a business.

Hell yeah. Don’t sell that thing, they are starting to get harder to come by. Tell your brother to let you tinker with it over the next couple of years.

Yep and all the couch potatoes that call it an out dated, heavy POS. Look in the mirror…

It's been dead last in every shootout since its release. I don't think Roczen winning a championship on a heavily modified bike makes the stock one any better

You know shootouts are just peoples opinions with implied subconscious bias eh?  Most test riders and riders in general would produce the same results be it on the shootout winning bike vs the shootout last place machine. They are paid to find differences and that they will…hence rear brake return spring felt a little weak and cause every vet to go out and replace said spring the second they purchase the bike. Buy what you like and ride it. That is all…

I highly doubt anyone doing a shootout is suggesting the test riders evaluate their biases when ranking the bikes

Even if they were, someone out of the probably 50+ test riders that ranked it last would like Suzuki, so maybe if what you're saying is true then the bike is even worse than thought

I have had Suzuki roots for 53 years. 😲All the way back to 1973. When I first discovered Motocross and my all time hero Roger DeCoster. He just has the magic touch with his mind and his experience on what he wants on a motorcycle and can engineer parts himself.

My first true Motocross motorcycle was a 1974 TM125, even though the Honda Elsinore was the more popular model. Owned over a dozen RM's and FULL FLOATER's throughout the years. There was a time when Suzuki RM's ruled the Southern Cal motocross tracks.

When he left and went to Honda and transformed those bikes into great machines. That's when I bought CR250's and  CRF450's.

His final act was to go to KTM and I've currently owned four of those great bikes as well.

I am sure Roger deep down had good thoughts about Kenny and Suzuki finally pulling it off. 😎

Are you forgetting when he left Honda and went back to Suzuki from 1995 thru 2010 before KTM in 2011.

Probably the cheapest Supercross title ever for them.
