Cade has been one of my favorite personalities in the sport. His early podcasts with ARay were very funny and his new podcast "Inside the Rig" with  Dave Drake are just as entertaining. He will be missed and I'm excited to see what he does next.

Cade’s first main event with BWR Honda, my son was his mechanic that day. IMG 3667

I respect a man who gives another man a lot of meat.

Enjoy life beyond racing Cade, congratulations on a respectable career.

Why’s everyone got to “step away”? Do some saunter away ? Meander ? Traipse ? Gallop away from racing ? Is it a giant step? A side-step ? A peculiar term….. sigh.    Anyway, best of luck in future endeavors, Cade. IMG 1116 2.jpeg?VersionId=D Id.4wfLSbnBa3K9x2TQoqoiIgJ9KF

Even though I had no business doing so, I was on the same track as him at The Club MX Open House Grass Track day a few years back. It's one thing to watch these guys from the stands, it's quite another to have one blow by you on the track. Kudos to Cade.

Chatted with him a bunch after practice and before the night show last week, was having fun, smiling and happy. No mention of it, I'm very surprised!

I used to go to the wednesday night open practice at ACP. One night I was sitting on the tailgate after riding and some guy on a kawi was absolutely shredding the main track. It was Cade and gave me a great appreciation for the speed these guys have.

Wow, that’s a longer career than I thought.

I’ve often wondered, and I mean this respectfully, how a racer like Clason could make a decent living with his finishes and often not qualifying for mains.  I know that sounds negative and I don’t mean it to be, because I think he must have been a hell of a hustler to continue to be able to race at that level.

It just seems like with the purse money and the expenses of racing, it would be almost impossible to keep your head above water unless the gear and personal sponsors are paying a lot more than I would have thought!

He got to live the dream.  I had it, you had it,  but he did it.  Fuck yeah.

I know everyone hates AI but I want an AI video of Gypsy watching the Pulp LCQ Race in a straight jacket with his eyes pinned open writhing in pain.

I get what you are saying and it is a curiosity to me too.

It would  be VERY INTERESTING to see the various instreams of income wouldn't it?

Some of these guys just have people who like them and  the sport and chip in.

Other riders are good at self promoting and getting one off races.

Riding schools...testing?

Loyalty to brands may provide a small but consistent income? Ala Nick Wey?

And of course the obvious...parents.

Got to spend quite a bit of time around Cade in Canada and here, in the U.S.

He’s one of those guys that makes our sport fun.

Congrats on an amazing career and too many smiles and laughs to count.
