So...What about the new '27 CRF 450?
It Looks pretty obvious to me that the new bike is coming... dealers starting to low the prices on the '26 here in Italy...
I've seen a post of ML going to Japan, probably to see the new bike? 😬
Can we have some hints?
You’re not alone in being interested in what the new Honda will bring.
Embargo until end of the month I think.
I just really need to know if theres a new 250 coming as well or if theyre waiting until next year for the 250. Maybe @ML512 can at least give a clue on that?
Maybe the new crf will be presented in june and sold by september?
Hope not, can't wait to buy one

Correct.
2028 model.
Thank you for this tidbit! I was hoping they woulc start releasing them at the same time, but apparently they are going back to the staggered release.
Interesting!
Some wealthy vet rider will somehow have a e-start 500 twostroke version of that thing before Sept 1st.
I remember when Hondas used to look like the best bikes on the track. Even going up to the 00's they still looked great! Everyone wants to make their bikes look modern or futuristic now.. its why I love the RMZ450 more and more.
Let's just hope it's not like the 81, 88, 97, 02, or 2012. I love my Hondas, but sometimes their new tech isn't ready.
The honda still is the best looking bike on the track
...for the last year.
Our dealer bulletin for the ATVs last month shows May for information release on "Performance Offroad"
The 2021-2024 CRF is perhaps the best looking MX bike ever, but im biased.
I agree they are the best looking bikes by far! I’m at 9.5 hours on mine now and they race as good as they look! Back to back weekends racing Hangtown on some insanely rough tracks and I’m in love!!

Pit Row
Sick graphics!!!
Thanks they match my 96 cr125!

i wonder what the purpose of that hindenburg looking swingarm is.
it holds the rear wheel and attaches it to the frame.
Isn’t that a short run for the current gen?
As did the former, but the cross section of the beam is novel.
did you guys hear the “ten pounds lighter” rumor on pulp? May have been a joke
A few good nuggets in pulp. 10 pounders lighter and lala to star in 27
Will be interesting to see. Ktm strayed away from trying to make there bikes as light as possible and I would say they’ve gotten more ‘planted’.
A Honda CRF450 losing 10lbs would make it very close to the current KTM weight.
I hope they add a KTM CUO-like capability to the Honda.
I find it hard to anticipate any really meaningful changes in the coming new bikes that is beyond changing up of cosmetics and just using the power of marketing to get people to dish out their hard earned cash. It has been pretty much this way for a while now, but even more so now with regard to any major changes or intro of any new technology or design. The new Honda shrouds are actually a bit grotesque, and to think, 90+% of us would turn the same lap times on a bike from 10-15 years ago. Nevertheless, I always eagerly await this time of year to see what the manufacturers come up with.
