I guess I’ll start with it. At least the track crew will have a decent week to build. Biblical…
Thursday Forecast (looks slightly better):

Wednesday’s Wild Ass Prediction Forecast:

Tuesday’s Overreaction Forecast:

Monday’s Forecast:

The first and last 5 rounds of the series should be in CA
Carrier Dome, or whatever they're calling it.
1/2" rain is not "biblical"
This was legit biblical amounts of rain:
The Shop
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts

Man, a day late for beautiful weather 2 weeks in a row
Sarcasm. 1/2” certainly isn’t a ton, still enough to get pretty sloppy though.
Last week was going to for sure be a mudder too everyone said. Seems the weather reports are accurate who’d have thought haha.
Is that a question or some sort of statement?
Last week we got very lucky. The bulk of the rain went just East of the stadium. There was a weird split in the storm. Hopefully the same happens again this weekend.
That’s what she said.
Agree. That or in covered stadiums. Midwest / east coast in April mean mudders. Only 1 last year but in a tight c-chip weather can decide who is champ. Of course many factors that decide venues, etc.
😂😂😂
I hate mudders as much as the next guy, but I feel like we do need 1-2 each season. It’s good to throw a spanner in the works and really test the championship guys. Last weekend Kenny stepped up, and Hunter had issues, these are what makes a championship so great
Biblical rain all summer to for outdoors
I guess the storms little blue pill is kicking in.
Grant always said in Australia if it rained, they would wait to ride till it dried up. Jokingly, after this Hunter is going to focus on practicing in wet conditions. He's been decent though in the wet conditions so far.
If you’re referring to Grant Langston, he’s from South Africa, not Australia.
Pit Row
Same difference. Their clocks spin backwards in both places.
There's no place for mudders in SX racing.
I sentence you to an entire summer of riding on nothing but sun-baked hardpack Georgia red clay with no watering and no shade to park under.
That would mean no more meatloaf….
As we saw last weekend, the track crew is really good at building it when there are openings in the weather. They are good at protecting the track when the weather goes bad. But the tough part is when the weather happens during the race schedule. Fortunately, we avoided that for the most part last week.
This week? Who knows... I think the track will be in excellent shape when they uncover it (if they actually have to cover it) on race day. If it's not raining then, the track will be excellent. If it is raining then, it depends on how much. Lots of rain? Then the fun begins.
Im okay with a complete mudder once a year to mix things up. Its when its inbetween that i cant stand it
It is pretty dry in Australia generally.
Except when it floods
The Lawrence family raced in Europe as part of their 100%, “all in” preparation for racing at the highest level. Plenty of rain in Europe
Barcia Barcia Barcia!
Let it rain
So I guess this means no press day again. Bummed they didn’t do the rain prep pack after press day. Not supposed to rain until tomorrow afternoon.
Forecast I'm looking at (WeatherUnderground) shows rain moving in much later now. We might dodge this one too! Doesn't look like the bulk of the rain is coming in until 2-3am Sun morning. If we just get some light rain during the night show it might not be bad. Goggle guys will be busy but dirt itself could be good!
Press Day is going on right now.
