Alpinestars did a nice job of mixing in some JT Racing flavor into Hunta's jersey for Nashville.

JT was in originator of that design, the rest were copies.

Here is a JT ad from 82 with Johnny, Donnie Hansen, Chuck Sun, Marty Smith and Jim Gibson.

Ah, learned a new one. I had one of the Answer jerseys so it's the first thing I thought of. Like I said, I like it, like most of the Alpinestars retro stuff.

We were digging that jersey. Wouldn’t mind having a replica.

I always assumed that logo originated with Honda corporate. I'm almost 100% sure they had it in their marketing materials in the early '80s. Of course, it wouldn't surprise me if they copied it from JT Racing too.

When I saw it on the broadcast, I thought it was cool, but it didn't even register until I saw the still photo that it said Hunta and not Honda. That's pretty sweet.

I was a Honda dealer in the ‘80’s.  That big red and blue H was a staple in their promotional material during that period.

You're right, the H logo with red on top and blue on bottom did originate from Honda the same with the HRC logo. JT just put the honda in the center of it.

If you notice alpinestars had to have the colors reversed. blue on top red bottom.

I wore one of these JT jerseys for about three years straight on a CR80 😂

Didn’t mind Hunter’s black jersey either.
