I remember having a discussion on this forum with a dude around 2020, that the RMZ was not competitive because it was dated.
I insisted that Kenny’s 2016 bike would still be competitive with anything in 2020.
Now here we are in 2026 and the largely unchanged RMZ is still smashing it! Awesome!
In recent years we’ve read about Webb saying his 22 KTM wasn’t as good as his 21 bike, Tomac said his 23 YZF wasn’t as good as his 22 bike, and did I read the current gen KXF wasn’t as liked as the previous gen?
Yet Suzuki change nothing and it’s still competitive!

Yes, roughly similar and Suzuki pays. Again ROUGHLY!!! His salary is less from HEP but Red Bull and Fox really takes care of him and has remained loyal to him as he has to them.
SOME RIDERS ARE JUST WAY TOO NIT PICKY AND ARE NEVER HAPPY WITH THEI BIKE AND CONSTANTLY CHANGING STUFF. EVERY MX BIKE I EVER OWNED, I SET THE SAG WHEN I GOT IT HOME AND THAT WAS IT. GAIN 10 LBS, OR LOSE 15, NEVER TOUCH IT, JUST CHANGE THE OIL, CLEAN THE AIR FILTER AND RIDE. CHANGE THE TORQUE ON THE SEAT MOUNTING BOLTS? WTH WOULD I DO THAT?
No sure if Suzuki is willing to invest in BNG for the KR Edition though. Don't count on it. 🙂
Kenny has clearly been the fastest guy on the track for the past couple of races.
There are two riders who we probably think of as being faster than 94, but one is injured and the other isn't adapting well to his new ride.
I said from the start of the season that either 94 or 4 would win the SX title this year, and I'm not changing my mind now.
I keep going back to his 250 days in Europe. Watching 94 and 84 destroy the field is something I never get sick of watching.
If he wins you'll never see a kick starter because he will be the proof you don't need one and prices will skyrocket.
Would loveee to see kroc win this thing... but... he's proven many times it just isn't to be...

Webb is still a threat... now, he needs some luck and some wins... but what if webb pulls off number 4 this season??? That would make for the craziest sx season ever...

Idk. Making up 20-25 points on 3 guys is almsot impossible. One guy, sure.
But if he wins out he needs Tomac and Hunter to finish 3rd or worse in every race. And Kenny to go something like 2-2-3-3-3.
It's a 3 horse race now. Well a couple weeks ago I thought it's a 2 horse race, so I guess we'll see
