He went down before that as well.
oof
He probably sounded like Screech for a while.
Let us know when Chase refuses to put in a qualifying lap, then we can compare him to Prado.

What would it take, an arm or a leg falling off?
If it was George...
Black Night: "Tis but a scratch."
Seriously, though, that was a BRUTAL hit.
Wouldn’t Case Section be the name?
EXACTLY!!!!!!
I'm surprised he even got back on the bike, that was a brutal hit to the nuts.
Caught it out of the corner of my eye, looked like he tucked the front landing from the double before the finish.
That dude's grandkids are going to feel the impact of that crash. I don't blame him one bit for not continuing. In fact, I respect him a little more for even trying to ride after that.
Yep. He was actually right behind Tomac and closing on him, then suddenly he was 20 seconds or so back. Not a single word from the broadcast team on Sexton until he cased the shit out of his quad attempt.
That's actually what I think so weird. Last week for his first race back he just looked great. Qualifying, heat, 2nd place in the main. He looked like he was on that Kawi for years. Same this weekend. Looked great on press day, in qualifying, absolutely smoked the heat race.. from last to 3rd and just 6 seconds behind Webb. Then he main starts and he immediately crashes and then everything snowballs and he crashes again. It can't be the bike.
If he does so, it is to get off the team!
Worked last time…
The broadcast also never mentioned or showed the hug case Webb had on the triple before the whoop section. He landed on the frame. It was right in front of our seats.
Pit Row
I rewatched the race cause I was curious. Actually, Sexton wasnt closing on Tomac. He got like an 8th place start, made one pass and didnt make any ground on tomac up until his tip over we didnt see (@around 15:30 minutes to go). After his tip over he was in 10th place behind marchbanks and it actually took him quite a while to catch up to him. When the broadcast finally switched to Sexton, he almost endoed few corners before his huge case. (Havent heard anyone mention it) I dont get how anyone can say he rode fantastic up until his crash. He looked terrible in the main
Lost time to tomac (and then crashed):
Here almost endo before his big crash in the next rhythm but good safe:
I'd put money on one or both wheels being bent, that rear shock probably wasn't in good shape after that, and who knows what connections got knocked around. hell that impact could have even bent the bars.
Nevermind the bike, his feet, ankles, knees, nutsack, spine, wrists and neck are probably all hurting like hell even today. No doubt he's still feeling that one.
He came back from being hurt, could have aggravated that injury. Could have also felt something wrong with the bike after those couple laps. Being so far back and way out of the points, why risk getting hurt worse if the bike was damaged in the crash?
I hope he figures stuff out soon. Sucks to see him struggle, makes me wonder how badly he regrets leaving Honda. When he had signed with KTM he was unhappy with the Honda but it was so early on that they really got the Honda working well for him by the end of his contract. He hasn't looked as good since then. Here and there he's had good rides but he hasn't been as solid as he was on the Honda since leaving them.
I hope he's able to be up to speed for outdoors, Could be some great battles with Jett,Eli,Hunter,Sexton, Deegan ,Prado . It could be one of the best seasons ever.
