Man, what a night. UConn in the championship game, Deegan wrapped up another title, and Kenny's 5 points out of the lead.

Can tell it is difficult track to set up for. Kenny showing that sometimes it pays to keep the tried and true set up

Just imagine if that Suzuki had a E-start, KRoc would've been in the lead! Kenny can become the oldest first time 450SX champ if I'm not mistaken?

Eli ... it's his age, early in the season it's easy to recover each week not so much past midway.  The grind is what it is.

Kenny is one her younger than Eli

I was worried that Kenny wouldn't have what it takes to beat Hunter head-to-head. He looks unbelievable right now.

Everyone else is testing, making changes, “not comfortable,” meanwhile Kenny is on the oldest bike (by far), seemingly making no changes, and crushing everyone on the toughest tracks.

Still want Eli to win it, but the whole “nothing is wrong” schtick is wearing thin. Go kenny!

Yeah, the age talk is getting boring and weird. Like he wasn't dominating 5 weeks ago lol.

That dinosaur of a bike sure looks like the best bike out there right now

It’s almost as if a bike doesn’t need to be completely remade from the ground up every 3 years. E-start practically is a necessity considering every other competitor has one but the old saying stands true: “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”

Hell yeah, Kenny! Just 5 points out!

It’s always possible, but I think this track was just that gnarly.

Edit: Guess I was wrong.

Roczen was flawless. Still nailing all the rhythms while everyone else were looking like squids making huge mistakes.

Not sure if chase knew where he was when they showed him sitting back at the team rig, didn't really even seem mad.... fully expect banged up until outdoors at this point.

worried about Nashville... They've had landmines buried in that track two years in a row.

I'd really like to see Ken win this championship but I don't want it to be because the AMA didn't apply penalties fairly

Seems Hunter has no issue with saying when he’s injured.

When they showed Deegan's interview, the broadcast guys put it down in the bottom left of the screen and left the race footage completely full screen!!  New signs of progress afoot!

Sully wrote:

Pretty sure they do that every time they show a pre-recorded interview mid-race, don’t they?

No, normally they don't do picture-in-picture, and instead do 2 separate views with minimal overlap, neither being full screen PLUS some screen space wasted with that dumb blue background for no goddam reason.

Damn Kenny! Dude is by far the best rider lately, so cool to see. If Tomac really isn't hurt (bs - he looked like he was lying when denying it) he better start saying he is because just randomly going to outsides of corners and riding around like he's not racing is beyond baffling.

31-32 is literally prime time for a male endurance athlete with a lifetime of work under their belt.

RC did say during the call that Hunter told him he had a sore wrist, but you’re right, never heard it anywhere before the race.
