It would be a crime if he doesn't test the 450SX class at the next round. I know he said he isn't doing this, but damn he doesn't have a challenger in sight AND he has the 250 championship already. Why make next year a learning year in 450SX when you can test yourself next week.
My expectations of 450MX have elevated after this dominating ride. Yeah I know SX isn't MX, but just wow.
Davies will win this year and be on a 450 in 2028 since he only has one year to defend and I think Davies will be even better on a 450. Jett vs Hunter vs Deegan vs Davies vs Chase in a couple years is gonna be frikking awesome.

Davies riding style is maybe more suitable for a 450, like we've seen with more 250 champs like Barcia. But that is always a waiting game till it happens. But I wouldn't make too much conclusions. All the others on an other hand seem pretty much "No 450 quality" and it scares me to see how depleted the quality is at he moment.
No, I thought so aswell. But even if he decided to, he would have had no chance and eventually even end up on the ground. Deegan has everyone covered, but if we compare Davies in his 2nd year vs Deegan and Jett in their 2nd years, he is looking fantastic. That's why I can't even hate on him.

This is a historically soft class. Kitchen, shimoda, hammker, davies, bennick, vohland, anstie, ryder d… All of them have insane talent thats obvious, but not 1 guy on either coast would you say is a dog. When a dog shows up they all tuck their tails and wimper. Not 1 guy besides deegan is a webb, barcia, eli, anderson, ferrandis, hampshire.. Theres like 8 dogs in 450.
