Why hasn’t there been any comments from either Cooper Webb or Jorge Prado about the incident between the two of them yesterday in Detroit? Cooper hasn’t necessarily had a rep as a dirty rider…but that looked like a blatant takeout on Prado. Did Prado piss Coop off? WTH?
That was more than a “bad decision”.
So it was a really bad decision?
If you hadn't noticed, Prado rides a very wide bike. Saw an opportunity to make short work of it and it backfired. Sometimes you're the hammer, sometimes you're the nail.

How's Jimmy D's comment 😅
I don't think the move was that bad as he needed to go forward quick. But obviously never good when you take yourself out in the process.
Yeah he needs to move. He’s like a more polished freise. I woulda did the same thing. No sense being held up for 2-4 laps.
Shooters shoot….
If only he'd have stayed up on two wheels, it would have been the best pass of the season to date.
Awesome that he dogged his way back to a 4th place finish.
4th? Cooper Webb?
Prado should just get it over with and move over after the hole shot, save everyone the hassle since its going to happen anyways
It was a great pass attempt and I totally get why he tried it. Make moves early to get to the front, don't get stuck behind Prado.
Problem is it was such a sneak attack that Prado didn't see it coming and have time to check up. It was the classic, Turn down and Oh Shit!, Paul is block passing me race incident.
Imo.... Webb did a standard pass expecting George to see it, let off, and concede the spot.. instead.. George wasn't expecting it, grabbed a handful at apex, and down they both went... #justracing
The only thing that lets me believe it was just an overly aggressive pass from Webb that went wrong, is that Coop doesn't have the reputation like Friese, Barcia and Anderson have for not knowing how to pass without contact. In fact, in the post-race interview Prado said "SOME RIDER ran into me and knocked me down". To his credit, he didn't use Cooper Webb's name. Shows Jorge has some character...and he probably realized that he was riding a wide bike and Webb was frustrated.
Maybe the other guys should learn how to start so they don't have to pass him every race.
Hes the new Allesi, that aint gonna happen
Super disappointing, I know Webb doesn’t have a reputation but that was straight up desperate and dragged other people down with him. He’s been on the ground a lot this year
Yea, I wish he would have stayed up. Not sure if he woulda caught Kenny, but maybe. The later we get in the season and the further behind he is, the more fire I expect we'll see from him. Not going to go down quietly.
Pit Row
Coop has been pretty vocal about needing to find more speed. He feels he's riding good, he just needs that extra. Maybe in his split second decision he thought this was the type of move he needs to start pushing if he wants to contend. I dunno, even if Coop has a rival on the track, he has never been one to do something that blatant.
It’s pretty funny to me how you can see guys ride extra cautious around Prado.
Webb looked like he just got too anxious to move up and didn't mean to cut him off that bad.
Who da fuk is George
The issue isn't how rough the pass attempt was or wasn't, and last weeks penalty was dumb shit.
Hannah/Glover/RC/Howerton are laughing out loud on that shit.
The issue is the AMA being fucking retarded on rule interpretations and penalties (or lack of).
Sorry I’m dumb but what did he mean by that?
That's pretty much how I saw it, too. Not to put words in his mouth or make excuses, but I'd bet he was looking to give him the "Kenny treatment" from the finish line turn in 2019(?) and it didn't work out as well this time.
Fantasy picks got ruined, maybe. 🤷♂️
'We miss 100% of the shots we don't take....' Gordy or Wayne...? Someone famous.
