Which is cool if they dont include only like 4 tracks on the disc. The should get rid of all the random UTVs and buggies and stuff and have just dirt bikes and atvs. Bring back pit pikes too!
@js7 "all the game geeks will be pumped on this new THQ game." haha

lmao
but when you have games like motogp, and gt5 ext. that have real bikes and cars, it kinda makes mx vs atv look dumb.
whats the point of having real parts and real gear, and then have a bike called a shima or a dakumoto and a blaze. oh but they have ktm. wtf.

the supercross tracks you have to absolutely rail the outsides and jump insane rythems to be fast. id rather see timing sections come into play. slower corners for more competitive racing.
seems like the triple and finish line double in the load arena are more to scale then the triple and finish line jumps in the actual tracks. for some reason they lost the scale on them.
MX vs ATV Unleashed was better.
MX vs ATV Unleashed for PC is the best, considering I just finished a 20 lap moto on it 5 minutes ago.
MX Untamed is by far the worst mx game made, Excitebike has better physics.
Reflex is good to go WFO on, but since I like to play realistically, it's not my cup of tea.
Sure it could be better, but guys complaing about hitting rocks and trees, then some complain they want it more realistic?? Can't have it both ways. It's a cool VIDEO game, and hope they don't change it too much.
Thought I was fast, till I went online... You guys who say the game is to easy, jump online and get back to me...
its really not a big deal, but at this age in gaming, its kinda expected when compared to other games.
Pit Row
KTM probably gave them a free lisence to get some advertise ment going.
The other brands probably wanted high royalties.
Not a gamepad and definitely not a keyboard.
i used a MS game pad the entire 5 years I raced that game ( MCM2 ) online. I was ranked in between 2nd and 5th place in the world for a few years in the open CC nationals. I also had the record on about 30 different tracks in 5 lap recorder. You can ask OCScottie about this. As far as that goes.....Scottie was friggin' awesome in the 250cc stuff! he was always battling in and out of the top 3 all the time in the recorder. In MCM2 , Scottie was one bad dude!
Plus not having the real brands means we don't get a great selection in real graphics. We can never have the official team Honda decals on the "Blaze" because it's not meant to be a Honda. Even though everyone knows it is.
That's not to say the poor choice in decals is let down by lack of real brands alone. I mean they simply didn't give enough decal options regardless of real or fake brands. However the KTM graphics are some of the best because they're real graphics with KTM written on the side. They look stylish and genuine. It's not my first concern but just another thing really.....
and after playing grand trismo 5 lastnight for the first time, what an amazing game. because of real locations, real cars, tons of options for your cars, such as tuning parts, wheels, paint. tells you horse and torque gains, weight loss. everything about the car. adjustable suspension. list goes on and on. i havent even had time to check out the online play because the career mode is so jammed packed full of stuff.
YOu guys need to go back towards Unleashed in some aspects. A LOT of people will agree that was the best of the games you have released, others think its MCM2. Reflex is good, better than the terrible Untamed, but not what we as customers expect.
The championship(series) layout for Unleashed is perfect! Why did you change it? I would make the supercross events like 10 laps for main event. 5 for qualifiers, 3 for lcq's. For nationals make it like 5-8 lap motos.
Here's how you get people that are casual fans to stay interested: Make a quick race or whatever it was called on Unleashed. Have 5 lap sx and 3 lap mx events so that the non-moto fan can have fun without going too long like stated above for the championship events.
Get real tracks!!! Come on guys what do you have to do to make that happen? Supercross Circuit had real tracks back in the day, you guys can't? Might take money, ok, make it happen. Whenever we have people like motoboss, guadalikt, EH,137, gala, moups, MessiaH, and many others that made tracks for the PC version it makes me mad that the guys MAKING THE GAME, making money off the game aren't doing things that people are doing for free! Make Unadilla, Red Bud, Steel City, Hangtown, etc. etc. Oh and just a note: Im sorry, i dont know who this is most directed at, guessing checkerz. The sx tracks for reflex sucked. Why were there steel ramps? This isnt the Jeremey McGrath Invitational. Look at the tracks used in the last 3-4 years of supercross..Look at the tracks used in Mx vs atv unleashed they were fairly good as far as multiple lines, and sx like(the later rounds: Tucson, Orlando, Portland, Philadelphia, etc)go ahead and re-use the best ones that would work for gaming, multiple lines, etc.
Hopefully you can use the names of the supercross rounds as well.(Anaheim, Atlanta, DAYTONA) What about a 250 east and 250 west serie. Let the riders duke it out to see who is the best 250 rider at the E/W shootout.
Physics for reflex could use some work, haybales need to be different. The deformation is good, maybe the second generation of that would help some, though it was pretty well done for reflex.
