Why is it that its always Democrats in Democratic run states and cities run by Woke politicians that complain about the prices of food, fuel and cost of living?  You people just don't get it, and probably never will.

Fuel is 2.65 here, Eggs are cheap and the overall cost of living is as affordable as it's ever been. I don't need a pretty chart to prove that to anyone.

yes, everyone knows it's cheap to live in shithole states.  not sure what you are deflecting about.

Seems a lot of you just like to bitch about everything. Especially anything to do with President Trump. The world just might be a safer place and gasoline just might be really inexpensive when the dust settles in Iran. I have no reason to believe otherwise.

I pretty much retired in my mid 40’s.

To quote the great Henny Youngman: “Some people want to be rich, but I have all the money I’ll ever need. As long as I’m dead by 4:00…”

It's just a hunch I got because I don't believe anybody over the age of 30 would use the term 'NPC types'.

What are you even referring to? I haven't complained about anything gas price related in this thread.

Hope and 'might' aren't a foreign policy. Where did you read "when the dust settles?" Seems to be your new catch phrase.

There is about a million reasons to believe otherwise if you live in reality with the rest of us.  It's been over ~35 years and the dust isn't anywhere near settling.

If you're retired, own your house, collect a check every month, don't have to pay for health insurance and your biggest worry is the price of gasoline life is probably pretty good right now.

If you're trying to work and raise a family with rising production costs, rising insurance costs, can't buy a house, interest rates keep going up, dollar value keeps going down, your kids school gets canceled because of bomb threats, you have to explain to your kids why we are in a war halfway around the world, you have to explain to your kids what Epstein files are, will your job be replaced by AI in 5 years, what will a reliable career be in 10 years, you're outlook is a little different right now.

Bought eggs for $1.49/Dozen on Monday…in Laguna. Talk about “nice”!

Then, I went and got gas…$4.39/gallon…best price in the area. Talk about “Damn!”

Campbell, California…last night…found gas for $4.19…Score! That’s A BARGAIN in Silicon Valley 🤣

Then, one of our guys in Fremont, California…last night…5.09 for Unleaded…6.39 for Diesel. DAMN!

I’ll be buying gas in Redding today…Gas Buddy shows is at $4.15-$4.59….E85 at $2.59 (run 20% in late model turbo engines).

One things for sure…we love to extort ourselves? 🤣

That's a very simple statement and one I'd love to hear your reasoning for, because historically speaking that's completely untrue.

Turkey is a member of NATO and has been since 1952. It has several strategically important bases on its territory and has always been a strategically important location for anti-ballistic missile defense systems. Turkey has been a strategic ally and partner against IS, against Syria, Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan not to mention the former USSR. They've been a trusted partner in the region for a very long time, and the Iranians have also started lobbing stuff in their direction as well.

The Israelis don't like them because Turkey is rapidly becoming the only remaining large military power in the region and has clashing interests in Syria, as a muslim country it's also been more critical of Israeli actions in Gaza and especially the West Bank. There are tensions from Western support for Kurdish groups against Syria where Turkey doesn't like those groups, and there's flashpoints on the extent of democratic restrictions from Erdogan and the current government as well as their human rights record. None of which means they can't be trusted, it just means there are differences as there are with all allies.

That's a lovely AI summary which only summarises the fact there are differences. Which there are among all NATO members, on a great many subjects. Differences of opinion aren't a signal that someone is untrustworthy, there are huge and very deep strategically important reasons why Turkey will always be a critical part of NATO and a key partner to the US.

They've also been in talks to rejoin the F35 programme for the last year or more, with the Israelis being the party that's pushing back against that the hardest not the US or anyone else.

I’ll stand on my previous statement. Turkey is not to be trusted.

All the red boxes are funded by AIPAC, the jews / zionists have been planning this for a long long time while they destroy the host nations around the world that were once thriving.
As far as they are concerned they are more important then free speech itself and have put legislation in place now in Australia that protects them.

About iran... I'm so sick of our baal worshipping pedophile cannibal leaders using our military to make themselves even bigger billionaires....

But we allow this to keep going on... this is ultimately on us... America- the land of the slaves, the home of the weak

It peaked at almost $6 a gallon in 2023.
I love how people think their prices are a reflection of the rest of the US.

I only pay attention to gas prices because it parallels pricing pertaining to the construction industry. It is largely petroleum based products. If gas prices are climbing, so are the costs of pipe.

The pump isn’t the only thing I’m concerned about. It’s everything attached to it that affects me. Bid pricing, shipping costs, material etc. Yet, so many like our dear barista, can’t see beyond what’s in front of him.

What if...now bear with me here because this is crazy talk, the groups backing the Ukraine against Russia were the same people backing the former Iranian regime, who were in turn supporting and supplying Russia against the Ukraine?

What if the good ole US of A just blew up a massive two-way grift?
