Will Anderson be back before Supercross is over and maybe SMX or retire?

Is there a possibility he comes back like maybe 2 or 3 races remaining and the SMX or has Arlington pretty much the last time  we see him race?

I think "too early to tell" is about the best answer you're going to get from anyone right now.

I use to be huge fan.  Unfortunately I won't  be surprised if we have seen him race professionally for the last time.

If he wants to come back, it’ll be when he’s ready. I’m sure he is in no rush.

What you meant to say is it will be when, or even if, his team is prepared to continue their relationship with him.

If PMG didn’t want him on the team they would release him. They haven’t done that yet. They may at some point, but as of now they’re still tied to him.

I’m saying it will rest largely with PMG, not whether Anderson thinks he’s ready.

I’m speaking in general, if Suzuki keeps him or if (when, really) they dump him, it’ll be his decision regardless to continue racing for any team (if anyone would sign him). But I understand how you interpreted it!

They will release him if he is convicted of this and now that he basically admitted to it, it's only a matter of time.  Him taking ownership doesn't change the action.

Even though he's still motivating pretty good...he's no spring chicken.  This situation probably ain't gonna go away any time soon.  I guess I'm trying to say...I'd be surprised if we see him again.😵

Charges were dropped.

This is a tough one to overcome and because of his age, near the upper end of his career, I think it’s very possible he may call it.  But too early to tell is the logical answer right now.

2026 was the fastest he has ridden since 2022. He's still an elite MX/SX rider. Hope he finds the equilibrium necessary to continue

That's good they were dropped.  Regardless, he basically admitted to it in his post, which is commendable, but very unlikely the HEP Team will align with him going forward.  Hard to spin that in a way that represents sponsors well.

I hate to see this. Lets hope this isn't a situation that happens more often than we know about and this just happened to be the one time the cops were called.

I don't condone what he did and I'm definitely disappointed because racing is better when JA is on the line. I don't want to see anyone go out, especially like that.

With that said, I know a lot of people who have made mistakes. This one isnt easily forgiven but I hope he is able to overcome this. I haven't given up on him because I believe that everyone deserves the chance to right their wrongs. I sure hope he sticks around and can put this in the past.

I suspect JA and PMG part ways.
Just because the charges were dropped doesnt mean it didnt happen.

If he makes a return, I wouldnt be surprised if it is on a private bike.
He´s a hot potato right now but its hard to predict how he will be seen in a 6 months or a year from now. Maybe teams and sponsors doesnt really wanna touch him but its hard to say right now.

At least his statement was a good one. Taking responsbility is always the only proper first response.

No team is going to jeopardize their sponsors by having a wife beater on it. He's done and rightfully so.

I agree but this incident is a real punch in the side and will certainly choke off his team opportunities.

I don't know anything, but funny how because charges where dropped that people use that as a reason why its all good! Jezz!, the guy admitted it flat out. Charges or not doesn't change the fact that he got physical with a girl. It's just not acceptable these days, not that it ever was, but shit, he's screwed. No way he can come back. Not a chance will it happen. Nobody will want to publicly associate with him. Can you imagine the protest, signs, social media outrage if he was allowed to come back? Too much heat, not going to happen.

It might even be as big as the pedos attending LL.

I doubt he races again as I can't see a team wanting to deal with the PR nightmare.

This question is just way to early. Jason to me was one of those gritty blue collar type riders from the start. He battled Tomac a lot as amatuers. His battles for the 2014 West coast 250f championship against Cole Seely were epic. It's when his jersey hanging out the back of his pants was born as his trademark. Jason left the Baker ranch to do things his own way after his 450 championship and has stayed relevant, because of his speed and talent.

If it's the last time, it really sucks for a racer who put his heart into the sport for so long.

Even with what the fans of him or our sport know, we really don't know anything of his personal relationship with his family. It's not my place to judge JA21.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is already done and over with in regards to charges/conviction. It happened in December, and charges were dropped. The only thing that has changed from then until now, is that knowledge of it has come to light.

The problem is, you read the details instead of forming your opinion based on only reading 35% of the words and filling in the missing details with your imagination.  That's why you don't get it.

I think there are some issues a person can come back from and be redeemed (such as a dui, reckless driving, impersonating a cop..etc). Physically assaulting your wife is not one of them..
