Yeah.  AMA won’t take any accountability.  Actually they are going to dock joe because his wheels left the ground. 

Shimoda deserves to receive 25 points for that race. So shitty for him. 

I’m sure they will look into if someone accidentally activated it.  Or what happened. And make changes in the future to SOPs

Don’t think the results will change at all but Jo got screwed big time on that one.

Jo got robbed.  Huge bummer.  Even if hypothetically the AMA made it right and gave him 25 points he doesn’t get the win which he likely would’ve gotten after literally breaking his neck 3 months ago.  The second place is amazing but should’ve been a win.

Red flagged jump should be required to stay on till the leader comes around again no matter what

I like how they said “a rider has to roll if the lights are on no matter what” well no shit but if they were on for Jo and not for the others that’s bs 

So they said they were going to review if the red light was on for pierce. That should be about 2 mins to figure that out right? No a word on it….

So going forward the ama better figure this shit out in the rule book cuz this is a clown show. You cant predict everything in the rules, but they better fix this for the future. This is fucking ridiculous. It seems the most obvious solution to make everyone happy is jo and brown both get full points and red plates and brown keeps his trophy. Are they going to do this and admit they fucked it? Probably not. 

AMA saying they are looking into if they were on for Pierce is them hoping they didn’t fuck Jo out of the win.

It should have never happened, but there isn’t anything they can do about the results unless the lights were on for Brown. You can’t give Joe first place points. He didn’t win the race. 

If a red light or red flag waves, it should be mandatory that it waves for the entire field on their pass through that section,  it makes no sense to wave it for one person or a handful of people regardless of the situation.

Definitely need to change the protocol so that a Red Cross is out for the entire lap, not just until the area is clear 

Replay just showed the light was on when Peirce and others went by.  

The clip they just showed on the post race show looks like Brown jumped with it flashing. 

Looks like people disagree with my last statement. Name a single time in history where there was no penalty yet a rider received extra points from where they finished?

They just showed a clip of Pierce and Dax jumping with the light flashing. 

Just showed a replay on the post race show, red light was very clearly on still when Pierce and Dax jumped. I was happy for Pierce, but the win needs to be given to Jo. No idea how you could possibly argue against it.

Post show just showed a clip, and they were on for Brown too.

They need to give the win to Jo then, fair play, he followed the rules

They’re probably in a screaming match with Star right now over it in the AMA truck. Please give them a minute to cool off and clean up the room. 

Facts are facts. A rider doesn't know why the red lights are on, even if they were on by accident, there's no way for the rider to know that. They have to follow the rule as written.
