Did you forget where AC said “kawi is making a full size 2 stroke” lol
My dealer was told the same thing, that they had some reliability problems come up in testing. As I said in an earlier post, they were told now it will be late May or early June. So we will see. I have a 25 250X, but I may switch to the 300, if and when it comes out.
It was posted on social media but then Kawasaki removed the photos from the internet?
Did he say that? I thought he said he can't reveal what it is but he will buy one?

People from 2 different Kawasaki dealerships shared the same rumor they saw on VitalMX? That doesn't make it any more real.
You assume too much. I never said he posted pics of it. There were no pics. The post where it was mentioned is probably still up so if you're that curious, you can probably find it.
Then how do you know he was riding a new Kawasaki 2 stroke?
I think this bit has run its course . . .
Mine wasn’t a dealer. It was a Kawasaki employee. I’m still waiting to see where it’s posted on vital.
Sorry to disappoint you. I'll call my local dealer this evening to get to the bottom of this. If that doesn't work, I'll get the number for my friends cousin that does something for Kawasaki, he was at Glendale.
Yes, he and others made sure to say FULL SIZE 2 stroke.
Haven’t been here in quite awhile. 68 pages is very impressive for you Kawi diehards! 🔥💯 Carry on !👍🏻
Great news! I called the local dealership and explained the confusion. They sent this video to me. This answers all of my questions. I put a deposit on it.
*2 stroke diehards 😂
You're not disappointing me you're irritating me which seems to be your intention so you win
A new KX650 will be next
Kawasaki isn’t using your tax dollars to build a new two stroke we aren’t entitled to anything they don’t wanna release yet, good or bad for sales it’s their prerogative.
The story was Stu rode it but it had problems.
This post says it was too fast.
Another says the engine needed re-worked.
Not exactly "reliability problems" like your friend said, but rumors are known to evolve.
Pit Row
Because the fantasy is always better than the reality.
The first GNCC of the season was this weekend and no mention of the new 2 stroke.
From a marketing perspective, I'm guessing they'll hype up teasers throughout the summer and wait until the announcement of the '27 models to properly announce it, which allows them to use the hype of the new 2t model to generate additional excitement around all dirt models and get extra eyes on everything. Last few years they announced in early October.
I haven’t read anything about reliability problems. Where are people getting that from? What I’ve read was that the motor was too strong and needed to be tamed a bit/re-worked.
All the manufactures announce their bikes end of may/ early June. It will be well before October if they want it in dealers in the fall time
Maybe they meant "We heard you" in a dismissive way? Like stfu we're not going back in time?
This is marketing speak for "reliability problems." 😄
"Too strong," "too fast," "too good?" That's some other kind of problem.
I would be willing to bet that the delays are simply because it took too long to get this bike finalized for a 2026 model, so they pushed it one calendar year.
Motor too strong? Oh no, my steak is too juicy and my lobster too buttery! 😆
Believe it was said that it was too aggressive for GNCC and was more MX power delivery. Would think that would be a simple to address with electronics.
NO WAY. Universal improbability. An industry that leaks like a fork seal does not suddenly develop CIA-level discipline, Please. If it were widespread, some YouTube couch racer would have dropped a 17-minute “EXCLUSIVE BREAKING” video with a red circle and an arrow by now.
The only logical conclusion? The bike is either mythical… or known by about four humans and a very expensive lawyer.
My favorite part of this whole saga is people posting the shitty AI mock-ups, fake Indian motocross site BREAKING NEWS articles, and aluminum frame conversions that never get ridden.
