If the bike was better indoors than it was outdoors he's in for a bad time

Chase won’t quit. He’ll earn his keep.

It’s the first year of his contract so he will ride all year. He doesn’t have a great track record in his final contract year if he isn’t doing too hot though…

Chase will be on Ducait next year. And he'll complain and tuck the front.

He started out on KTM the same. Ultimately he was unhappy on the bike. But he didn't walk out on his contract. Can't see him doing that here either.

The bike might not be perfect. But one thing Honda, KTM and Kawasaki have in common with each other is Chase having issues keeping it on two wheels. He was also able to win on them all though.

Nah he doesn't walk out on contracts, he just gets mystery illnesses one race into the series and then misses half the races while the team insists he isn't injured.

It's weird. Looked unstoppable and comfortable in 2024 outdoors...

Who cares how awesome his form looks on a bike.

Cannot get it done. Not a grinder. About one season away from being a consistent 5-8 guy who mails it in fo next 5 years.

Said it before and will say it again. Kid does not have it takes to be a champ. Beat Shane  and Eli gifted him one.

I don’t think he stays there for 3 years, but I don’t know where he would go at this point

He wont stay for 3 seasons, he will do 2 years and get out.

We will see him on Yamaha, Triumph, Suzuki or Ducati @A1 2028

He will ride it out ,  I mean base salary of 2 million plus a year . Add on another close to 1 million for other sponsors and a few podium bonuses. Winning seems to not matter anymore.

Reminds me of Nolan Arenado signing with the Cardinals for huge money and just being average .

Where would he go to get elite rider pay? He will ride it out.

Honda has the Lawrences into infinity and been there.
Yamaha has Deegs (and Webb till he retires).
KTM has Eli Jorge and Plessinger. And from Swap interview with DeCoster I don’t think they want him back. They took Jorge on a one year deal after some hand wringing.
Husq doubt it since in KTM group.

Suzuki maybe if Kenny or Andersen retires but I doubt his salary would be comparable to Kawi.
Ducati or Triumph would be 2nd Tier pay too.

The question is, when will he start wearing his hat backwards?

The only rider dumb enough to walk out on a multimillion dollar contract to prove a point with a bonus only deal is currently sitting at home nursing yet another shoulder surgery today.

Even if Chase wanted out, I bet Kawi and Monster would make it next to impossible after letting Jorge out of his contract. I think Chase figures it out tho.

What’s dumb about that if your life isn’t money oriented? That was commendable to say no to all of that money for something he believed should be better

I’m not independently wealthy, so my perspective might be different than yours.  If I had the opportunity to do something for three years that would allow me to never have to think about money for the rest of my life, I wouldn’t walk away from it.

He’s already sitting on 8 figures in the bank, he’d ride for no money to prove he’s one of the world’s elite.

Oh man, with J-boy coming back and Deegan outdoors, If chase doesn’t step it up, (especially because kawi is a better SX bike that a Mx bike) he is going to be running into trouble…. I’m kind of scared
