Not that i bet but that shit should be lllegal. He was obviously nowhere good to go and people would bet and pick riders in fantasy differently.

Lol you saw the guy cause a red flag and get carted off in practice and thought everything would be hunky dory? That's just a matter of common sense. Doesn't matter what Lewis reported if you picked him for fantasy based off of that

Do you think just made that up? If he was told that by Prado, what else should he say? And yes, some personal common sense should also apply.

I go directly to the team and get told, "Yeah, it's all good! Everything checked out. It's all good..."

I have three options: Share it, keep it to myself or pull out a lie detector test.

Today was the first option. In future, I'm just not bothering. Tweet other media guys for updates.

You did nothing wrong. I would've reported that, too.

I definitely didn’t pick him, was just giving Lew crap but seen he’s a little sensitive about it

C'mon Lewis, admit it - you were in on a betting scam involving Prado. Hope you made a bundle. 😄

Seriously though, why let some anonymous poster bother you? Keep doing what you do for those that appreciate it. 👍

Thanks man! 👏

I see that. Apparently hes never reporting news EVER again. As a moto media guy that might be bad for business.

Second qualifying session. Caused a red flag. They didn't show the crash.

Shake it off Lewis.  We know you are doing the best you can.  Don’t let it get you down.

Cut Lew some slack...he was just reporting what he was told.

To be fair, the last time I broke my collar bone, it didn't feel quite right but I continued to ride around gently for another hour.  I loaded up, went home, showered, watched some tv, and attempted to get comfortable in bed. I laid my arm over the side of the bed and that's when the bone separated and tried to make it's way out of my skin. I wouldn't wish that "no adrenaline" pain on anyone.

Not on you…. Ignore the hate.  This is on Prado and the team giving you bad info.

Could care less about fantasy sx or betting, but I agree here. Not @LewisPhillips fault either if he’s just reporting what he’s told. This sport got catapulted into the betting world for better or worse. If these guys are not fit to race by the night show they should not be able to see a gate drop.

Obviously, Prado thought he was OK, or wanted to believe he was. Until he wasn't.

Don't shoot the messenger.

No problem, was just trying to be a smart ass. Can see you are in a tuff spot, prefer you report what you hear and people need to take that info with a grain of salt when it comes to injuries as we all know most aren’t truthful for how they feel

You people that think anyone cares about your fantasy bullshit when a rider (ie human) is hurt is what should be illegal.

Oh, and if you feel the need to bet on anything you deserve to lose your $$$.

If the sport is going to open themselves up to sports betting they need to do a better job of policing injury reports similar to other sports and fining them (not sure if it would be rider or team) for falsifying them. I’ve never bet on this sport and don’t plan on it but would think there would be legal repercussions for not enforcing some type of accountability.

Sir im gonna need you to calm down. I never once even blamed lewis for anything and literally said in my first sentence i dont bet. Take your anger and shove it up your own ass.

I am tired of the grow the sport argument but stone age tendencies. Accurate reporting, be it from the teams or media should be better if we are really wanting to take the next step

BTW, I thought you were supposed to teach Sexton how NOT to lose that front end. From what I saw in the heat, not sure your seminar was that conclusive.

As with the other thread supporting your first ride in a decade and quoting Teddy Roosevelt on “stepping into the arena”, that is relevant here too. Don’t be afraid to take a stand, to step into the arena and be judged and be wrong at times. Being silent and not reporting in fear of being occasionally wrong is not the way.

.. Hyper-critical dirt bike fans on social media ? brush that idiocy aside like the annoying gnats they are.

Prado clearly was suffering from a case of Go fever, and the adrenaline rush from P-1 in qualifying clearly wore off as the pain set in from his crash in the hours leading up to the night show....

and, for the individuals who are foolish enough to bet on dirt bike racing, Boo hoo 🤡
