I think he will be fine

He was the fastest guy on the track a few times I think he’s fine or atleast it’s certainly not an injury that will keep him out.

Looks like he hit his hip on Craig's bars when he crashed. That'll hit ya hard in your 30's. He was fastest on track so he'll be alright. 

There was no beast mode in the comeback.

Took him a bit to get going.  He crashed with Craig and Nichols and they were a ways a head of him on the track.

I think he started hitting that quad again mid moto. Pretty sick. 

Stop getting so upset over it. It's not that deep. I'm 5 years older than him and think it's badass that he's still the top guy. The 250 class loves mentioning how "they're only 18 years old." As if we didn't have James turning pro 10 days after turning 16. Go complain about that.

Did he? The few times we saw him on the broadcast he wasn’t doing it and he didn’t do it during the heat race

Why not just stay down and cause a red flag and have a restart.

Did they change the rule of re-entering the race after the Macadoo crash?

He said he was fine post race interview and that it took him a few laps to get back going at pace again. You could see the frustration in him during the interview. Probably a little sore this morning but I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. Only 8 points down considering how it could have been is not too bad. He’s still very much in it 

Ahh idk I saw a short of him hitting in and it seemed like the main event. It was definitely at night and he didn’t have the leader lights lit up so I kinda assumed. I might be wrong. 

Yeah, they showed it 2 or 3 times during the race.

Keep the flopping to soccer and basketball

He had the fastest lap on the screen towards the end of the race, coming through the back of the pack with dudes that were multiple seconds a lap slower is pretty good. Being Tomac I was worried he'd roll around and get sucked into the pace of the back markers, but he pulled it together and salvaged points.

Hoping it was the equivalent of a “dead leg” or “ dead arm” where it is severely debilitating for a while but not long term. 

He usually doesn’t share details about being hurt unless he is out. 

That's what it looked like to me also. The way he was holding that left arm initially like maybe it was hurt. You fall on another guy's bike, maybe he was wondering if the footpeg got him and how long before he realized it, IE Wilson taking the peg to rear end.

Good to see he appears to be alright after crashing 2 races in a row .

I don't get the anguish.  This was the mere definition of a racing incident.  Tomac got a bad jump off the start (his fault), got pinched off so he tried to lay up safely, then Craig's front wheel clipped Hunter's back tire and Craig washed the front.  And when Christian was going down, he clipped Eli and Colt who also went down.  The exact same thing could happen (and likely will) to Hunter (and everybody else) sometime the rest of this race season.

It's a Tomac thing. I don't think I've ever seen him get back up quickly. 

Slow it down frame by frame.  To me it looks like Tomac checked up once Webb leaned in and got in front of him, and Webb continue to drift inside to close off the line and Craig tagged his back wheel.  Hunter was managing the inside and Craig was trying to maintain his line when Webb cut down and wheels clipped... you see the tire turn sharp and tuck.  Tomac is my guy but he HAS to get better starts or this is the type of crap that happens.
