I can’t watch yesterday and not be suspicious somewhat. Pre race I thought all this chatter about the brothers was dumb and we’d see Jett break hearts yet again except he goes out and does the worst fix job I have ever seen - hopefully Jett can stop the cry baby bullshit and race properly now for the rest of his career without feeling like he needs to play soft with his brother in a title fight.

I'm happy Hunter won. I wanted him to win. But all you guys who think Jett didn't let Hunter win (today and last week) are just fooling yourselves. I actually don't think there is anything wrong with Jett doing this. He obviously cares a lot about his brother and has plenty of titles already. Deegan falling in front of Hunter just made the mission more difficult for Jett to pull off. No different from team tactics we often see, but this was just 'Team Hunter'.

Yea he tweaked it so bad dude couldnt crack the top 10 moto 1, gets carted off "grimacing" in pain and then in moto2 has to carry his brother to the finish line as Hunter TRIED to throw it all away again. Look the brothers are 1 and 2 clearly but this was a setup. Jett saw hunter down and mailed it in.

Yea he hurt it alright. Had to be carried off MOTO1 to laughing it up and having a good time MOTO2. Year. HURT** 100% he wins every SMX round. Congrats Hunter, Fun is over, Daddy is back. We all know what just happened. lol.

The fanboys w/ DDS always expose themselves lol. You have to be one if you actually think Jett didn’t make sure his brother won this championship. Ever since Hunter had that DNF, Jett has had really bad starts & not riding like he knows how to ride. I like Hunter & wanted him to win, but I’m not so blinded by the facts just because I like a guy that Im going to ignore what we all just watched.

It’s clear that Jett did not put in his best in the first moto. In the second he probably did. But if you WANT to win and you see your main competitor on the ground the first lap you sprint as much as you can. Not drop an anchor, looking backwards in every turn and ”race” with riders you normally lap. Then an hour later with some tape on your foot you can all of a sudden podium and run a decent pace again?. He looked as fine with this result today as he did going in to this weekend...

This post is Not to take anything away from the first 10 races of our U.S. Nationals. Nor am I wanting to bash Jett hard on this. It was some professional C-class sandbagging in that first moto, and that just didn't sit well, nor was it a service to all of us fans to watch that. The story line had to unfold like it did because like I said in my post, Wieg and Stew were trying their honest best to call that first moto and even they struggled. I am a huge fan of them both, I have a brother im very close to and as much as I don’t want to say it, the things you said resonate for me as well. I have felt so bummed since the first moto yesterday. Jett is a really kind person IMO and I think he did what he felt was right but I’m not sure there was a “right” other than to race his hardest which would’ve ripped away another championship from Hunter…it’s honestly a lose lose for them both after Deegans crash took HJ down.

I woke up today and felt empty... both fights fizzled out into nothing, and we were left with more questions than answers. The fact that every question about the series wont be about what we watched, but what we dont understand, is a shame. The only thing that can give this legitimacy, at least in my eyes, is that Honda pull Jett from SMX. Its a nothing series, nobody cares, i couldnt even tell you who won last year. He needs rest and to fix up, and if he doesnt do that from tomorrow, it will always leave a nasty...

Not anything against Hunta at all. It was painful to watch Jett, and they kept the camera on him a lot. Jett got his first "bad" start after qualifying great. Struggled to even put in a decent lap for half the moto, then picked up the pace when Hunter was by. But didn't take too many spots in the first moto. The 2nd moto was a lot easier for Jett "to manage" since Hunter and him were together from the beginning. So the part about letting the top couple go and then cruise it with Hunter behind didn't have to...
