Kinda shows all these hot new models don't mean diddly....
Until we do another period of full on works bikes... our technology is going to remain stagnant...
Probably the leading manufacturer as far as points paid in the 450 class, no?
In my mind, Suzuki has proven that current MX bike technology has stagnated. The modern 450 is so dang good, from any manufacturer. All you really need is a revalve and you’re 100% good to go.
How many races have they won this year? Tough to say it's the MOST competitive without winning a race.

I would say yes and also KTM with Eli and Prado doing well early on as well.
Kenny won a triple crown moto by 2 seconds and finished the night on the podium so obviously the bike is competitive. With Kenny 4th in points and Ando in 6th Suzuki collectively has the most manufacturer points. Race series are won by having the most points, not the most wins.
Add in the fact between those two their average team age is 31.5 years old, I’d say results so far are even more impressive for the Suzuki.
Sure they are competitive, but on what basis are they THE MOST competitive?
By being the only brand with two riders in the top 6 and by putting riders on the podium?
If you actually think the reason Kenny hasn’t won is because of the RMZ and not because he’s racing the deepest talent pool the 450 class has ever seen, then you’re foolish. If anything, it’s even more impressive the dinosaur Suzuki is near the front today than ever before because of how competitive the class is right now.
The 4 strokes are so good on any displacement or brand and the 2 strokes are catching up. Great time to ride dirtbikes.
KTM is the only team to put 2 riders on the podium so far.
The fact that PitBits has a 100 different pictures of CNC'd engine mounts every week is proof that bikes are not going to change very much in the near future. In fact it seems like nobody is really even asking for anything different. Which to me is kind of sad. Its actually seems like the opposite. They all just want to be the same.
Yeah see a lot of those in the 250 class… it does go to show if you have two top 450 riders you have a better chance of having riders in the top 5
yeah also Webb who, as soon as he heard Jett is out, insists on being allowed to ride the 25 model.. tells you a lot
Counting the top two riders points, KTM is the top team. Suzuki is close behind in 2nd though.
If Honda was healthy, very conceivable that they could go 1 and 2 in the Championship
Ktm is pushing development constantly especially in 2 strokes but everyone shits on them.
Because there Orange

Great to see yellow doing well, but wouldn’t KTM with Tomac in 1st and Prado in 8th be ahead of Suzuki in 4th and 6th?
Edit: KTM 144 to Suzuki 138 it’s close.
With that average team age, it means it's the same bike as when they turned pro?
Sorry, couldn't resist.
It is awesome to see! Happy for Pipes, Roczen and Anderson.
Plus we all know the Zook looks the best anyway!
Although yellow gold wheels might be better idk.
Suzuki is also the only brand fielding 2 riders with the potential to win races.
and Kenny is the guy who doesn't continually fiddle with his set up and completes lots of motos. Coincidence?
The excel yellow rims way better then black imo🤘
Aside from Plessinger in the mud, Which other brands have 2 riders in the field that are 450 SX race winners?
Kenny seemed a lil PO'd with Ando this weekend.
He probably should have been PO'd with himself with all the little mistakes he was making trying to get back to Webb.
They should 110% switch to gold wheels. Wowza that looks good
My question is if Ken and Ando keep this up all season will Suzuki finally reinvest into R&D for their two wheel offroad program?
Lewis has said in multiple pods now that they’re going to make some big moves in 27’ but I’ve been somewhat hesitant to believe these rumors as we’ve heard similar stories throughout the last 5 years or so.
