Kawasaki is bringing the two stroke back!

More so if it can’t compete with the KTM TBI engine wise, it will be a disappointment.

That’s not a very high bar.

What fuel injection two stroke do you think is better?

Maybe the new KDX will msrp at $5000?  It's gonna be made by GPX so why not have a GPX price tag with it?

GPX 300s are $7000

Even a GPX 220 is $6k

The Fantic XE300.

It's got that 26 year old , yet Wonderful, Chassis, plus Kayaba Suspension, and a Great, Minarelli , YZ architecture based, EFI'd engine.

I've ridden a mates bike  a few times now, and, it's bloody Fantastic.

Except they announced it. Delayed can be explained, retraction is a mgmt and public relations debacle. Can’t see that happening.

Good point; the announcement seems to have been a bit premature and puts Kawasaki in a bad light by now. Still, things like this happen sometimes. Either the bike will get released and we'll finally get a resolution or it will get cancelled and (I imagine) Kawasaki won't say anything about it. I wouldn't expect a retraction.

We weighed it, the Fantic EX300, brand new, at 248lbs with the 9 liters of Fuel.

His EXC300 (PDS Bike) , weighed 244lbs, with 9 liters of Fuel. I can't recall if it had the Oil tank completely full.

Both at the same time, Blinkers  and Mirrors / Road gear all removed (our bikes are Road Legal - being plated is  of key use here).

Not spec sheet BS weights - weighed by us, right there, in the workshop. Std bikes, pre being 'Armored Up' for bush use.

The owners got a 350 Beta coming soon - I've had a brief ride on one - It, was Fantastic!  I can't wait to get a lot more  time on it. He's a "Moneyed Up Mongrel" (his description of himself), and a great bloke, that lets me ride all of his bikes. He's got a couple of Starks, as well, that probably upsets a few people here.

Given that a Fantic is almost $12k, unless the Kawi comes in over $10k they won't be direct competitors.

How did you alter your POWER JET timing. Why would you want to have it engage at 12.5k? I want to hear this.

MXA Insta says intro tomorrow at 9:00am PST.  Don’t say it’s the Kawi but strongly hint that it is.

Love when the 65 page thread with no info, pictures or timeline gets bumped to the top so I can look at 2 stroke scooters.

I did. I bought a Stark instead. For real.

I waited until Oct. Bought a husky.

Profeshonal125 is Chuck Jensen

So, he knows the Power jet shuts off to lean it out and get some overrev? Even with double boost ports?

The I-Cat and his 40mm carb play an integral part of the whole package.

Not my work, it's some kids Lorretta's bike and that's a lot of epoxy. Why just drink a beer and smoke a spliff when you can shotgun beers and use a gravity bong?
