I have a weird feeling about Anderson and yellow. Do we think he keeps the same happy mood he had at WSX if he doesn't match his old results on the KX and will he continue if he doesn't belong to the top group anymore?

Tomac is the biggest question mark for me. If he wins SX, I think he will retire on top. Another injury? Probably retire aswell. If he doesn't win a title but wins races and stays in contention, he might race one or two more years.

I think it's one of the two.

I think Barcia's on a one-year deal with TLD/Ducati, isn't he? He has had a crappy 2025, and hasn't at all looked like "his own self". I think he will retire and move to the UK with his wife if he can't come up to being a top-5 guy again. Heck, he might have a few more years left if he moves to MXGP.

Really is a hard question.

5 years ago I was thinking they would all be retired by now.

I think most all of these guys have figured out how to enjoy it without killing themselves during the week.

It could very easy be anyone of them, if not more than one.

I can see Tomac, Anderson, Webb, and Barcia all retiring in 2 years. I feel like Kenny will keep a part time schedule an extra year or two

I can see about 5 of those guys retiring at the same time.

Anderson has stated he wants a long career, so sounds to me like he wants to hang around as long as Reed or Brayton did. Kenny and Tomac definitely only have a couple more years as they've all but admitted, but I could see Tomac retiring first. Surprised by the lack of Webb votes, definitely don't see him hanging around too much longer.

As others have said I feel like it’ll be a handful at the end of next year.

Tomac for me. If he can’t wrap up a SX title with Jett out then I think he officially passes the torch

Sadly they are all on the way out. I wouldn’t be suprised if this is Tomacs last year. I can see him struggling on the ktm and then calling it quits. I hope not but I have a feeling

A lot of additional 30+ riders out there at the B level too on the cusp of retirement. You look at the list of these A listers the OP made and there is quite a few of them in questionable situations - new teams and bikes. It was poignant the post stating Jett retires first, I thought this injury could really put a damper on his enthusiasm for the sport, and he is pretty wealthy already. I doubt he races until 30.

Can’t remember which podcast it was, but they mentioned Eli’s KTM contract has an automatic renewal clause if he wins a championship.

But I agree, I hope if he gets one he goes out on top.

I'm surprised that there are people who still think Tomac can win a championship.

1, 2, 4, 16. His last 4 seasons. His results are getting exponentially worse. Its uncanny how precise it is. You can't fight father time.

I would even go as far to say I doubt he races past 27…

I think if Tomac has a rough year he pulls the plug. He's on a 1 year contract with an option so if he's not happy with the bike and not winning races, I think he calls it quits.

You can ignore me, but none of you will be able to ignore King Deegan when he moves up to the 450 class.

Curious if you're between the age of 12-16?
