I was looking at Amazon. Found an 8" on sale for the price of a 6". I  could then do 8" and 6" thicknesses.

What did you use to cut them?

The foam mattresses from Amazon are very soft FYI. I was not a fan of the one I bought. 

Serrated knife. Worked well with the type of foam the one I bought was made out of. It’s on the firmer side. But much more comfortable than the usual van bed stuff.

Thats one i was looking at. 

Try to find a local source.  After looking online for different foam/fabric options I finally just went to a local-ish upholstery shop.  They were super helpful and got me the right density foam and fabric for a rollover couch/bed I built for my van.

Kateryna  correct spelling phone wouldn’t let me spell it right. I spent Tuesday with her she has a great laugh. Hr girl there always kinda serious.  A little wed morning too.  Other gal is in safety in white .

What’s the deal with last weekend Profesh? Big Vet race and Pro Am in your backyard and I didn’t see one CR125 out there.

I had a early 1990’s Dodge Mark III custom van like this and with the bed taken out the bike fit in backwards between the 2 rear captains chairs so rolling down the road it didn't show any signs of having a bike in the back.

Ah man my last post deleted its self. I,m on the rd Bro . 1st month off was a fight with insurance to get injections . I told them not to get  authorization from. Cg. To charge my other insurance. Had to call insurance then market place to cancel the plan. May 13 to 6-21 cold as f. Then 3 injections a week, weeks of 5 apts . Body shot so I started riding even tho I had massive pain to stand. 8 body parts injected . They don’t last so I,m in a hurry to get bikes together or a bike. I rode a practice bike with mod cylinder with 2 yr old bulk vp.  Rained out 50 times or more working on bikes . 2+ weeks of calls trying to get w2 from 1099 co.s. 1 vanished Lucky I took a pic of payroll sheet. Get taxes done as a ic it’s a lot . Wild fire smoke got me Real sick dr twice 4 that. I basically stopped riding because of that & other reasons fc suspension wayy too soft & packing past mid stroke rear end kicking side ways . It was straight up I fixed that. Way too stiff of shock spring I installed the oem spring . I ordered the stiffest for springs & wanted to try . But shit weather rain & cold 1st week of aug. 4 weeks of good weather but 18 days of smoke in July . I drove 127 mi to practice sand I did the sx track every stop was clicker adjustments & some sag. I would’ve shipped the suspension out but then 2 weeks no riding. I monitored the job situation  & wages while off & it didn’t look good. Rehab the body 7 days a week& 5 epson salt hot baths & used the same tub water for ice baths. Dozens of them .  Some injections had me out of commission for 2-3 days . They always screwed up riding with Yak . Something I Really wanted to do for many reasons. Real fast riders being one , 1 of the top 125 riders at LL & Pro riders. I basically burned out constantly running . I swear I never got ovr last winter most brutal ever since 88 traveling . Calling co.s for a month to get a job. I even called my last co the trk I drove blew up .  1099 co.s pay less than 1/2 of 5 yrs ago . Did a apt on the truckers report with 1 min . A co called then 5 in 2 hrs  but 1k a week take taxes out & I break even on expenses. I was trying to catch up on stuff from the 90,s traveling. I got a massive amount done. I never saw a worse summer not supposed to rain & it did most days, only hit 90 3 times , cold summer . Skipped practice & never looked at the track . Lined up & raced to hv fun . Up hill start dead last I think I passed most of the 30+ riders on new 250,450f. The 50+ leaders where  gone by the time I cut threw. Lap 3 I could see them tho.  I was 2 straight aways with jumps behind on the start . Shit didn t work out when does it. Very expensive sport  wznted to hit more races & get sponsorships but do the math & think about it. Unless I get at least 2 k a week I,m spending my money . App at work some of the Ukraine gals hv a pic . Here’s another pic is in Ukraine . Very nice women & Very dedicated workers in there specific duty . Outside of that they say I no trained in that specific dept . I can not advise to on that matter .  Every phone call has 3-4 subjects , right ?

My 95 g20 I did the same bed out . Bike shoe in middle of seats I drilled holes in the seat base for tie downs . Bike was a little wobbly so I removed 1 seat 80 lbs & added another tie down loop . 

Got a 300aH house battery wired in to charge off van while it's running, plus 200w of solar on roof. Mostly just running a fridge, fan, and charging devices. Tucks underneath the front corner of my bench/bed setup.

Waterjet a little control panel for battery monitor that includes my light dimmer also. I will probably extend this panel and add a few charging ports up here as well.

I've been procrastinating so I'm happy to finally get my electrical set up. I've been waiting to finish that before doing the storage buildout.

I know I’m old and as such don’t really get into playing music off my phone to a Bluetooth speaker. Anyone hook up a 12v all weather radio to listen to outside the van? I like to listen to local radio, get weather updates, etc. Would like to find something to permanently mount under the can to do this.

Just rolled into Florida yesterday near the Mesa track. Been about 4 years since my last ride so looking for some off road to shake some cobbles out and get things rolling again.

Mine isn’t nearly as nice as other motovans, but one day 💯. I got a 170” extended sprinter 60k miles. My buddy and I built it out. And on race weekends my wife and I sleep in the front on a queen size air mattress.

I can get 2 bikes in the back. 
It’s also my daily drive. 
Great on fuel.

I”m in Jupiter, 1 hr south of Mesa Park/ Fellsmere….have not heard anything regarding Mesa re-opening…

Same engine, so far in 170,000km it not using any oil. 

I imagine Pro has a CB in his G20.

Wow when did they close?

The last 3-4 years Mesa has been run by some nice Canadians….just during the winter time, closed summers….usually would open around now, hopefully they will continue to open for the winter….I have been to Orlando Mx a few times since getting back down here in early November, its more Vet friendly than it has been in past few years….Weds is usually full groom and not too bad on the old bones…how long are you down here for? 

I see the Express has the usual rot in the usual place. They all rot there...everyone I've had did. Lol
