SKDA is top tier in design. Great partnership
Australian riders. Australian company.
Makes sense.

SKDA has quality products, I run their seat covers.
What's even better is their customer service !...they immediately took care of a shipping issue for me.
With all the graphics companies out there nowadays are there a ton of people using Throttle Jockey nowadays? I can’t think of anyone I know who has had Throttle Jockey graphics in the last 15 years.
?
Teams usually land sponsors, not sponsors landing teams.
Maybe it's that way for a large and/or outside the industry sponsor, like Progressive or Red Bull.
For an endemic sponsor like SKDA, I would say they landed HRC.
Who's the one paying/providing free goods?
I’d imagine SKDA paid out the ass to get HRC. along with sets of graphics for every bike/practice/race. I was told a well known company was going to pay around 100k plus an ungodly amount of graphics for a very small/new team, and another graphic company got them instead
I understand your point, but to think Honda didn't have it's pick of whatever graphic company they want would be silly.
Who do you think had the bargaining power in this negotiation?
I would think HRC would be glad to take free graphics from whoever can meet their requirements and gives them the most money.
Gonna be funny when the bikes show up at A1 and still look like stock Honda graphics, like they always do lol.
So? If HRC get extra sponsorship for same looking graphics then who cares ???
SKDA makes some really cool stuff and this partnership is awesome for them.
Did a search but found nothing, what does SKDA stand for or mean?
and thank god they do

Their 'about' page indicates it is a more corporate/mature evolution of their former 'Sikness Designs' branding from the founder's youth (the aughties), now abbreviating 'Sikness Designs Australia':

US HRC is getting more Aussie by the day, not something I ever imagined happening!
Interestingly, saw Throttle Jockey post up something recently about working with HRC for so long. Didn't realise it was a send off.
Hymas and Shimoda are Aussie?

This honestly hurts my inner childhood a little bit. The woody woodpecker, white triangle Honda oil stickers on the front fenders were pure factory Honda for me. End of an era
I still use them to keep my fleet of 90”s CR”s looking good👍

Sticker Kits for Dollars (Australian)
I HAVE seen really interesting designs come from SKDA but these do not represent what I have seen very well. https://us.skda.com.au/categories/shop-by-bike/honda/honda-cr-crf-models/full-graphics-kits.html?p=2
I think, it was the studio lighting and off colors that were being used. The bikes shown here look like everyone else. I hope they can be free to design as they want.
what a dream come true for Sam at SKDA. Such a cool moment to see a buddy go from printing local kits in the garage to printing for Factory HRC. Already got me excited to see what is created for MXON next year
