Grant Harlan to team with Moranz and move to a KTM. He's been on Yamaha a while. That's an interesting move. Hopefully he's getting a little more support versus the past to even consider switching brands.
Is Suzuki looking to have a 250 effort or was ML just being kind including them when mentioning beta and ducati? The way he worded it made it sound (to me) like they were trying to give some support to an existing team.

I know of a team who’s talked to them about hep down the road, but not for 2026. I don’t know anything that’s in the works for 2026.
Who’s the team
Thanks, it's at least positive they're entertaining a stronger presence. More decent rides benefits everybody.
I thought it was Friese. He hasn't been officially announced yet, right?
Thanks for the link. Nice to see Murphy continuing on with Husky.
There’s a few staff listed for star and triumph that are the same
@ML512 What happened to Jade Dungey being Eli’s mechanic?
@ML512 Any news about Guillod for 2026?
I might be blind, who?
Still standing by this. The announcement today kinda leans that way huh?
Maybe was a glitch on my end. All seems good now. Odd….
I’d say. Lines up for A1 - just testing the waters for a few rounds. Goes well will carry on. Struggles will do 250’s and a few 450 rounds.
If he doesn’t win a 250 title, good excuse that he’s been riding some 450’s. Also no expectations on 450, so a win win. If he doesn’t race a 450 and loses out on a 250 title, that’ll look bad.
So many guys on new teams and bikes, now’s the perfect opportunity to jump in.
Triumph Racing has signed amateur motocross prospect Darren Pine to a multi-year contract. Pine has enjoyed much success in his young career so far, earning 22 major amateur championships, most recently securing both Supermini titles at the 2025 Loretta Lynn Amateur Championships. The momentum that Pine carries into the tail end of the 2025 season makes his decision to choose a future with the newly developed Triumph Racing Amateur Team that much more meaningful.
Pine’s debut aboard a Triumph was the Motoplayground Race at Ponca City. He’ll be back in action at the upcoming Thor Mini-O’s ahead of a full season competing in the 250-B Class, including the Spring Nationals and all major AMA Amateur Motocross races. Triumph looks forward to developing Pine’s natural talent and propelling him to the highest level.
Darren Pine – Triumph Factory Racing
“It’s been so cool being on Triumph and getting to train with all the pros. The bike is amazing, and everything about it has been awesome. Training with Brownie [Mike Brown] is hard to beat, he’s one of the best. I’m super excited for what’s ahead!”
Jeremy Coker – General Manager, Triumph Racing America
“We've always believed in nurturing emerging talent, and with Darren Pine joining our ranks, we're not just expanding; we're accelerating. He brings a raw speed and determination that perfectly embodies the spirit of Triumph. Adding Darren to our amateur program is a game-changer. His talent and hunger for the top step of the podium is exactly the fuel we need to ignite the next chapter of Triumph racing.”
So Triumph is only going to have 2 riders in the 250 class?
Pit Row
That says 2 Amateurs.
I'm pretty sure their pro team is just Swoll and Forkner, since Smith is moving up and Haarup will be on a 450 outdoors.
2 ams, 2 250 pros, 2 450 pros (Haarup is MX and SMX only though).
It's good they have a 450 but why aren't they getting anymore 250 riders?
I think this the budget they want to give to their raceteams. They also have two riders in MX2 GP's (Farres & McLellan). So that's 8 factory Triumph riders, excluding the Enduro effort.
Apparently Masterpool is testing with Star yamaha
Damn. I can’t see the mastepool personalities meshing well with everyone at star though…
Still in his Fox/PC gear lol.
Maybe the second time’s a charm.
I just can’t see this being any better than round one lol.
Hopefully I’m totally wrong and he gets it together!
