Anyone know what secret technology is under this tape. There is something attached on the right side near the bolt
That tape is on there so the threads do not get packed with mud on the siting lap. Making it easier to put a fresh rear wheel with a clean tire on for the start of the moto.
Or maybe he has kidnapped his rear axle.

A lot of GP guys do that for the sighting lap because they change the wheel after. Easier to tip off the tape than clean off dirt that got stuck on there
Or to get your attention on that and away from the really cool stuff.

It's not interesting at all. That was a Pirelli. Had he taken an extra second to look, you can actually see the embedded Pirelli logo on the sidewall at the top of the wheel. This clown thinks he is breaking earth shattering info. It would be comical if it wasn't for the fact that he legitimately thinks he is discovering something all the time.

He started his channel being over the top, then focused it on privateers. I'm not sure what his focus is right now, as his videos rarely come up lately in my YouTube feed
There are times that I disagree with his analyses, but he also surprises by showing things I hadn't noticed.
It's unfair to lump him in with Cooksey, or the like. He deserves credentials.
