Careful, I posted about his dad and also Chase’s relationships with Honda and KTM and the dog piling got real. Seems there are a few others that “know” the deal with Chase and dealing with his dad. Too bad… he definitely puts on a good front for the fans. He’s one of those guys who should’ve told his dad thank you for getting him to this level, then asked him to sit down.

Exactly, one of the only riders to step up and challenge Jett yet all he gets is 💩 on. The KTM has pile driven him into the track multiple times this year, Tom has publicly claimed shock issues (note Chase has not blamed the bike for these crashes), I wouldn’t be a happy camper either if I felt the cause of my concussion(s) was due to the bike or team
...We sat and spoke to Chase last year in front of his bus Saturday night after Hangtown last season, the race he came from behind and crushed everyone.
At that point he was pumped on the bike and excited to keep working with KTM, I don't know what happened between then and now but I have heard from a few places that his dad Kieran makes the a lot of the decisions for Chase.
He gets the hate because he's never won a championship without the guy in first crashing out. He's got the speed but is a head case but blames everything but himself. He's a phenomenal rider but has his baggage. To be fair they bagged on RC, Chad, James, RV, and Dunge all in their days and they won championships people forget.
It won't be long until he has shit in everyone's hat.
I know a lot more about the situation, but I'll leave it at that. And I agree with you 100% about getting some separation from his dad. For the record, I really like Chase. He's been great to me when I've had interactions with him, and I think he's a down to earth good guy. I'm definitely a fan and I hope he crushes it at Kawi. I still wish he was with Honda, but I'll root for him on any bike.
